I'm a big fan of Edinburgh Waverley because the whole thing is Chaotic. My absolute favourite train station is Tynemouth Metro Station on the North-East coast of England. It's a lovely old Victorian station with a market every weekend. It's also the longest continually operating station in the UK

I have lived in the UK my whole life and what I have realised is that cities need various styles or they become tedious. For example, Bath in Somerset is mostly preserved in yellow Sandstone and was even rebuilt this way after the Blitz. The problem is that although the city has kept its glorious architecture in one piece, the whole city looks the same with no landmarks. The whole thing is boring. Bern in Switzerland has the same problem. Aesthetically, all the buildings are lovely but there's no variety. The area I spend most of my time in is Newcastle-Gateshead in North East England. I love these because the whole thing is chaotic. Brutalism sits across the street from modern architecture. The Gateshead Quayside is dominated by a 16th-century church, a blobitecture concert hall and an art gallery inside a former 1920's grain silo. Sure, there have been missteps (cough Trinity Square cough) but I'd rather live in a city with a few ugly buildings than a monotone city with nothing breaking the mould!

hi all im in a similar situation. i thought i found a solution and it worked for a few weeks and then it just happened to me which is why im here any and all help wanted. PS im using a disk if that's any help
