I Need Assistance with the SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC Extended Cycledogg Terrain Mods V1
CahosRahneVeloza posted a topic in SC4 - Custom Content
I just downloaded the updated Cycledogg terrain mods bundle pack from here... https://www.sc4evermore.com/index.php/downloads/download/37-terrain-mods-and-tree-controllers/324-sc4d-LEX-legacy-bsc-extended-cycledogg-terrain-mods-v1\ ...and I'm trying to reinstall my custom terrain mod setup as seen here... https://imgur.com/iFBjSDc But looking at the Java Installer options... https://imgur.com/S2THtBz https://imgur.com/S2THtBz ...I can't find the options for CPT_No5_RockTextures_ which I chose the Olympic essentials version for and CPT_No6_ which I chose Meadowshire for. The beach textures I chose is obviously from somewhere else. Anyway, I wish instead of the installer, the package was presented as a structured zip folder so it'd be easier to sift through the options manually as it used to be. I do understand that the installer was created for ease of use. Unfortunately it's not being so for me at the moment. -

@Jidan OK, for now I'll just stick to the OG terrain mods then as I do love my current setup, until the mod pack has been fleshed out some more. I do understand what the Extended Terrain DLL mod is going to be used for and I do want to get those other three terrain types into my game someday. And I will wait patiently until then. I just hope @Ulisse Wolf won't think I was being obtusely dumb and didn't know what I was doing like most beginners to the modding scene usually are. I've been enjoying SC4 Custom Content installation for over a decade now and have ingrained in myself the habit of thoroughly reading the Readme Installation files that come with the stuff I do download. As I said, the Readme for the extended version wasn't well written and was the cause of my confusion. I will follow the development of this mod closely from now on -

I am trying to install the Extended version but I really don't understand how to go about it. The CPT06 options are missing on the Extended installer and yet the installer tells me to pick and choose options I'd like. So should I just install with the default settings and get everything onto my Plugins folder or what? -

Now that's odd. I think the copy of the installer I downloaded is broken as I don't see those other options. -

I did read the Readme included with the Legacy pack but it wasn't too helpful at all. It did say the pack includes ALL of CP's terrain mods. But installation ISN'T clear. It said to refer to the individual Terrain mods' install instructions but reading through it I can not locate the specific setup files I want. For one thing the Installer DOESN'T provide an option for CPT06 Meadowshire. The other Terrain mod options ARE there please refer to my screenshot of the installer. I DID find, and was able to select, the one for the CPT Italia Cliff but the CPT05 rocktextures and CPT06 Terrain mod options aren't there. What throws me off is that for every top level option where you press the "+" checkbox to see other choices, is that the descriptions SPECIFICALLY tells me to select just one of the provided options within. So just as I was trained to do, I selected options I like. But as I said, the options for CPT05 and CPT06 aren't there. So how do I go about installation? Should I just install everything in the default manner, with every option enabled? Or can I still pick and choose the options I want? -

MySimtropolis - Invitation to become a SimCity 4 MySim
CahosRahneVeloza replied to CorinaMarie's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Oops~~! I guess I forgot the Legal Necessities of Asking for Consent... Ugh~~! Flashbacks of when Plugins Authors would get pissed off at fellow Authors when an uploader forgot to credit whoever owned a prop or texture that an uploader used in their own upload, just flooded my memory I should've thought of that on my own, my bad. -

Just out of curiosity... Can't both Pegasus, the guy who created SimPEG, and Paeng be added to this list? I mean they are SimCity 4 Legends too afterall? Oh and don't forget Tarkus too -
Pedestrian Revolution Mod (PRM, PedRev) - Development and Support
CahosRahneVeloza replied to Lucario Boricua's topic in NAM & Transit Networks
Kinda hoping for an easier, and cleaner, way to make a four way Draggable PedMall and street, regular and/or SAM street Cross intersection someday... Making a Tee junction is quite easy by plopping down a single Road tile, to where the street and Pedmall are going to cross. Then dragging either the street onto the Pedmall, or the Pedmall onto the street by having the Street tool lay down a tile over that single Road tile, then boom the game creates a Tee junction with the street tile even putting down a crosswalk marker, if the street or SAM Street you made the junction includes one. But things ARE A BIT FINICKY with a Four Way Cross Intersection as the game sometimes converts the PedmalxStreet intersection into a Road Intersection. So okay, I've finally figured out the correct way to do this: ...you DO NOT need to create a Road Tile connection. What you need to do is to first have the Street pass on through WITHOUT the PedMall going near where they should intersect. So leave a two (2) tile gap on each side to where the PedMall needs to cross the Street/SAM Street. Then create the Cross Intersection with one tile on each side of where you plan the two networks to cross. Now using the "Network Eraser" tool delete those two stubs that forms the intersection, you will then notice that the intersection will remain even if those two stubs were deleted. Now drag the Street Tool from where you deleted a stub and have it connect with the PedMall network one tile away, you will then see the Street tool take on the PedMall you connected it to. Now do the same on the other side and you're done. Finicky yes, but easy peasy it seems, nontheless.- 34 Replies

Does anyone know of the Cafe Navier link for Xannepan's Medieval Civics pack download. Just asking as I'm having trouble finding it. Also did he, Xannepan, eventually create a Police Station that fits in with the pack? As is, all I remember about the pack is that it has a City Hall, a Hospital, a Fire station, a Library and a Museum. But no schools and no Police station. Also, does anybody have a Lots version of these? For the second pack I only really need the numerals. I used to use these... But they're a bit buggy.

If you don't mind using "Ordinance" mods to solve your issues, then I suggest this...

Either try the BSC Legacy Parks system hosted at SC4Evermore. Or try Paeng's Parks 205 pack found here. And of course there's also the PEG Park system as well.

Is there a Yellow markings variant of this? Also are the other NWM widths supported too?

Probably either this... this... ...or this... ...but that last one's a bit trickier to setup. Also the only ordinances I ever use from the OG mod, the first one I listed are the ones that deal with Garbage, Polution, Electricity and Water. Power and Water I use on my starting Rural/Farming city tiles as we don't really set up many Water Towers in real life to sustain real world, moreso third world, Farming communities. RFE: Addendum... Actually, this is what I'm using, and NOT the OG one... ...as this one's the one that also has the "Clean Air" and "Clean Water" ordinances I mentioned.

I was looking for the very same download back in September 15, which you can find on page 662 of this thread, that I too remembered downloading from way, way back when but like you can't seem to find it easily either, Thankfully @simmering came to the rescue and fount it for me... Do note though that the parks ARE NOT Alphabetically arranged and are all in the Parks menu and depending on other items in your Parks menu, may not all be grouped together.

Are you by any chance on a Mac? A few posts up @Tyberius06 mentioned a similar issue with another Transit enabled lot. Perhaps he can help out here as well. Cool that it's almost ready

I just saw the recently uploaded Moonlight's Japan Canals Collection both on here... And over at SC4Evermore... https://www.sc4evermore.com/index.php/downloads/download/14-park/313-sc4d-LEX-STEX-legacy-moonlight-japan-canals-collection ... and both mention NAM version 49 and above as a dependency... So is NAM 49 going to be available soon? As it's still NAM 48 that's available here on the STEX and on SC4Evermore

Thanks for the awesome suggestions man! There isn't any 5x5 nor 4x5 lots on those but they'll still come in handy in the future Incidentally, does anybody remember a Solar Power Collector upload that had animated Solar Panels that spin and swing around randomly? The upload also had a few lots with static/fixed panels too? I'm asking because I can't seem to find them anymore. I'm also unsure if they were originally hosted on SC4Devotion or not though. Nevermind, I found them. They were from Cogeo....
