Hi there. There seems to be a problem with scrolling to zoom in and out on my installation of the game (with mods or without them this happens). When I scroll in our out, everything is blurry for a few seconds and the simulation lags for a few seconds before working again. I've had this problem ever since I got a new PC a few years ago (I didn't have a problem on my old 2003 PC . ) SC5 runs much better than SC4 does. I'm now running top-notch hardware on my PC, so I don't understand why this is happening. Is this just part of the game, if not, what can I do to fix the problem? Also, would you recommend I purchase another copy of the game via Steam? Right now, I have it on Origin.

I love the game. I think it's 100% better than SimCity 4 minus the map size and region play (No direct city --> city connections/green space between cities). Online play is great in my opinion. It effects your city a little but not enough that it no longer feels like it's your creation. Also, I haven't had any server trouble. At all. The bugs I've experienced have all been graphical except for calculating water usage incorrectly. I think that if you overlook those things, you'll love the game.

I'l join. I can't promise I'l do anything well, though... I haven't played sc4 in a looong while! I'm just getting back into it. Also, are money lots allowed? I'd like to be able to plop my city to make it look like I'd like.

I was wondering if you could point me to a good terrain mod that gives a very, tropical feel. Maybe like hawai? Something that would go with PEG's tropical water. Thanks for your help.
