Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you BAT-ing wizards out there could re-create a Norman Cathedral. Many such cathedrals are found in the UK, they have a large spire and are built around 11th-13th centuries. I am truly inspired by ancient monuments esp. churches/cathedrals. We have a beautiful one where I live, Norwich Cathedral. Find pictures here, if they help.... http://www.cathedral.org.uk/pages/html/index.html

Nice work, interesting story, entertaining and challenging terrain.

andrew george: Lots and Bats that you have never seen elsewhere, are probably from my private collection, like all the piping and Dam (not damn) Lots. Depending on how complicated a BAT is, but let's take the undergroundpipe lot with the 3 blue pipes for an example. This took me 30 minutes in the BAT,5 minutes to render and another 5 minutes to make the lot.Acceptable I guess.- I usually do them on my coffee breaks. Eh? Damn????

What can I say? Beautiful region, the attention to each and every detail goes a long way. May I ask, are the lots used for building the dam your creations, and, if so, how long did it take to create them? I really want to have a crack at the lot editor and BAT, as well as post a CJ, but I haven't time, patience or ability for the former and I don't think my cities/regions would be interesting or good enough for the latter. (I'm an optomist, really).

The Ragged Edge: A tale of four cities
andrew george replied to mayormommy's topic in SC4 City Journals
You're a very brave mayor building on this terrain, together with the challenging way in which you want your sims to move around (it's nice to see a region that isn't a criss-cross of highways). Top marks my friend, may your CJ's live forever!!! -

This is a fine region you have here, very realistic typically English place names together with our beautiful patchwork quilt-looking agricultural areas.
