Well, I have to say I'm torn. I could re-ignite this one - I have done a small amount of work on this since last update.... However, I have also been contemplating and planning a HUGE, ground-breaking new project, which would probably take up more than the little time I have available at present...

Hi everyone, thanks for all the kind words! I have been a little busy recently, my friend has just had a wedding at which I was an Usher. (Not easy trying to seat people when like 50 grannies and grandads pour into the church at once, oh well...). I'm still working on Bayswater - it's going slowly and getting bored and not bothering with it for a couple of weeks hasn't helped either. What a superb map Benedict! Thanks very much for taking the time to do that - I have extensions to add to mine I must do that. It's just one of a number of outstanding things I have on this and it's all getting WAY too much! Keep smiling and I beg patience! Cheers A

Bayswater Planning Commission Goes To Work Hello and welcome to the opening stage of the construction of the City Of Bayswater. Some draft plans have been outlined by a team of Engineers and City Planners sent by Norwich's Mayor George. The fundamental idea behind Bayswater is that it becomes a commercially and economically supportive city to Norwich. The concept that has been drawn up is that, although it's a completely new city, it will be a representation of a hybrid of some of the world's largest cities. It has been planned with a historic central area, a CBD, a beachfront promenade with hotels and casinos, a large international airport, some open parkland and a modern transportation network. Some business leaders from Norwich itself have expressed interest in investing large sums of money in other projects - particularly sports. It has been rumoured that two icons of the business community, John McCullen and Barry Atkins - who are rivals to each other - were recently rejected a place on the Board of Directors at Norwich City Football Club. As a result of this, they have now earmarked land which which to build large rival football clubs of their own, to boost the Norwich area's football representation as planning goes ahead for integration into the national leagues. Some maps have been drafted of the plans thus far - however these are subject to change at any time. This is a preliminary map of Bayswater's transport network (Please keep the laughter to a minimum - this is a very rough sketch I've thrown together to outline my plans). The blue lines are motorways, green lines are major trunk roads, black lines are railways and the red line is the Promenade Elevated Rail. An underground system similar to Norwich's Metro, still under construction, is being considered. Other areas and landmarks are indicated on the map key. Key: 1 Norwich-Bayswater International Airport 2 St. Paul's Square 3 Queen Elizabeth II Park 4 St. Paul's Cathedral & Cathedral Quarter 5 Historic Town Centre 6 Bayswater Central Station 7 Waterloo Park A spokesperson for the Department Of Transport said today: While it has been a feature throughout the growth of this entire region to use ample space for major road junctions to improve safety, our hand will be somewhat forced in this development. Space is at such a high premium that we will have to restrict ourselves to much smaller junction systems than usual at key points in the city. With safety always in mind, the result of this will be strictly policed speed restrictions, particularly around the proposed Western Bypass. This is a preliminary map of the historic centre of town. Various landmarks will be catered for as time goes on and Bayswater grows, but a certain amount of land is to be set aside. Key: 1 St. Paul's Cathedral 2 Bishop Of Bayswater's Residence 3 St. Martin's Church 4 Museum 5 Bayswater Central Library 6 Bayswater Stock Exchange 7 Bayswater Criminal Courts 8 Broadgate Market 9 Broadgate West Station 10 Broadgate Circus 11 Guildhall 12 Eastgate Station 13 Bayswater Opera House 14 Rembrandt Gallery nb. If anyone would like to contribute some ideas as to buildings that can be used, by all means..... A City Planning Department spokesperson said: We have modelled this as a hub around which a vibrant and affluent city can grow. It will boost tourism and give the residents a sense of belonging to something historic, as well as providing the key functions needed in any large city. Let the building commence! Please let me have your feedback. Thanks A

Date: 6/13/2005 4:51:17 PM Author: Nardo69 Nice Job with these hedges .. I come from southwest Germany, these a hard to find there that's I don't use them quite often - but in your rural areas : perfect ... It sounds so ... stupid, repetitious but ... GREAT WORK!!! Nardoquote> Thanks Nardo69, so, is south-west Germany a rural region of the country? I have to admit ignorance - Germany is a country I don't know much about. Thanks A

Hi to all and many thanks for the kind comments. d211q2 - Yep, I'd been waiting for months for someone to release something like those - they look great don't they? Of course, they are everywhere in the UK's rural areas. I have visited Poshborough and it's looking good, but I haven't yet checked if my guess was correct..... Thanks again bud. MissTonya - that sounds good - bring it on!!!! Yes, don't worry, it isn't something out of The Ring making it's way through your monitor - those are my unique farms. I really must try and remember to go into the city and see if demolish and re-zoning will improve things. Thanks! oroen - three department stores?? That's the thing with a lot of the downloads, I seem to have problems. I check the dependencies and have them all, but then some probs won't show. Simgoober's Rum Distillery (I think it is) just has the green base texture - weird. The Electric Power Stations (available on the STEX I think) are ploppables. They are my method of cheating (yes, I confess) they cost
