    G'Day Simtropians, Well today is a bit different, today I was given a link to some interesting software which allowed mapper and terraformer to expand their horizons so to speak. So thanks to Kitsune for the link. Ok, for the test I have stitched the four quadrants of Los Angeles together and produced a single map measuring a whopping 147.456km x 98.304km. Now it does come with a few caveats: 1 is I'm not going to render it as I have a bit of trouble scrolling around. 2 is it is only 64bit territory. 3 is you must patch mapper to load the map, there is a link in the readme. AND NO, Do not patch mapper if you are running windows XP or any other 32bit version of windows. I suspect it could crash a 32bit version. You have been warned. I cannot stress that enough. 4 is you may have trouble scrolling in SC4. 5 is well have fun. That I think is about all. Cheers

    G'Day Simtropians, Thanks for not forgetting me, so I thought what about a little celebratory map! This I made about 4 years ago and decided at the time not to release it as CP also has a map on the lex of the Grand Canyon. Tonight I thought what the heck for those who do not frequent sc4d, here she is. The Grand Canyon is situated in Arizona and is about 17 million years old, although the Colorado River has carved out about 2 billion years of geological history of our beautiful Earth in that time. A mighty effort all round I should think. Of course this is an accurate scale map prepared with dem data. It's in sc4m format so one will need wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer, links and further instructions are in the zip. That's all folks Cheers drunk

It is not the easiest of maps to play but there is some flattish land around the place ;<).     Hi Kelistmac, nice to see you too. Blunder I was out there for a bit, actually mate I work out there mostly ;<) and have done most of my life. That's cool Prophet, Brissy was my first reasonably large map, I am glad I updated it to 16bit as it has a bit of everything. G'Day Izi, Hmm I don't know, time will tell I suppose.
