G'Day Simtropians, Today I wish to present a map requested courtesy of Ducksnake, (every household needs one) Thanks mate. Queenstown is situated in the Central Otago Region of the South Island of New Zealand. She lies on Queenstown Bay an inlet of Lake Wakatipu at an elevation of about 320m. See me up CLOSE and personal. This is a real world map and is accurate in terrain and scale. It measures 53.248km x 53.248km and requires Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer to import it into SC4. The map was produced with dem and satellite data. A readme is included containing links and instructions and a pic and is free. That I think is about all. Cheers -

G'Day Simtropians, Well I have a second map to show today and one is always welcome to download it. This map is from the other side Un Zud and is of Nelson. Close to the geographic centre of New Zealand and on the north coast of the South Island. The nearby town of Brightwater is the birthplace of Ernest Rutherford, who was a very smart cookie when it came to nuclear physics. (discovered the proton, split the atom, won a nobel prize. Just one's usual daily fare.) See this map up CLOSE and personal. This is a real world map and is 45.056km x 32.768km. Manufactured out of 0's and 1's, it utilises 16bit mapping technology and is terrain and scale accurate. Being in .SC4M format it requires Wouanagaine's Mapper or Terraformer is installed on one's machine to import it into SC4. Some satellite trickery and DEM data was used also. As always, there's a readme and it contains instructions and a couple of links. That's it I think. No wait, there's more! Merry Christmas Everyone. Thanks and Cheers. -

G'Day Simtropians, Todays map is of Kaikoura in the South Island of New Zealand, nestled between Manakau in the New Zealand Alps and The Pacific Ocean. This Map is terrain and scale accurate and was made using 16bit mapping technology. It is a medium map at 28.672km x 28.672km. It is in .SC4M format and requires wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer programs to import it into SC4. Links and full details are in the readme. That's it I think Cheers -

G'day Simtropians, Today I wish to show a map of Mt Cook/Aoraki in the Southern Highlands of New Zealand. This is the highest mountain in New Zealand at 3754m. Many people have climbed it and many have died in the attempt. This is a scale and terrain accurate map in 16bit .SC4M format and was produced with DEM and satellite data. This is a large map at 53.248km x 49.152km made up of all large city tiles. Ok the drill is, grab a copy of wouanagaines mapper or terraformer and follow the directions on the included readme. A readme with links and instructions is included. (gratis) Mmm yeah I think thats it. Cheers
