  8. Iona - A night We`ll never forget!

We didnt know what to expect, but heard great things about a night out in Iona - the bars, the clubs, the drinks and the 'talent' of course!!. We got to our hotel (The Plaza Tower Hotel) at 4pm via the nearby underground station, just in time to have a quick look round the shops and designer boutiques for a new outfits. We got showered, shaved and splashed on the Hugo Boss (as we say in the UK suited and booted) and left the hotel to hit the town. We visited a few bars round the main square and got chatting to a group of locals in Max's Bar, Jakes Place to do shots and chasers, and Cream to bust a few moves! . Before we knew it was 3am and we where off to a house party....at the top of a skyscraper!!! cocktails, topless girls and city views what more could you want!! I dont really know what happened, but we left for another party, with a quick stop to a 24hr shop to buy some Grey Goose vodka and mixers.. On the way to the next party we stopped for a quick skinny dip in some pool outside this office, well we did for 5 minutes before some fat guard chased us away! I was almost sick from laughing and running.. Cant really remember what happened next, its all a blur and a few flash backs, all I know is we woke up on some island close to Iona downtown, it was 11am....I wearing a G String with lipstick all over my neck and a pair of Elvis sunglasses and a blow up crocodile called Mandy.... .....one thing I do know is this town knows how to party and I will deffo be coming back!!!

  17. UK Localisation Modd British English

Great modd, Americans still speak a dialect of old English, while we in the UK speak modern English and Americans speak American English. I think its interesting to see and hear the differences. Its funny though that Americans call a handbag a purse, a purse is a womans version of a wallet which goes in a handbag, or candy and cookie, candy is a type of sweet and cookies are a type of biscuit.

Iona is a busy lively city, sims love going out in the evening to eat, sing and dance the night away. Theres a whole range of shops, restaurants, bars, theatres and clubs for every type in the city - just take a walk, cab or train to downtown and enjoy... New York inspired early 20th century buildings have been lit up as part of the City Lights project to make Iona glow at night. Iona like New York and London has its very one neon and LED signs in the cities main square advertising the latest must haves, drinks and flash cars Some sims work hard in the early hours and then hit the town

  25. Iona's Residential areas

Iona has a wide range of neighbourhoods, all with excellent transport links by train, bus, car or underground - right in to the heart of the downtown for work or play. You can choose from a characterful Victorian townhouse close to town, on the cities hillsides or close to the sparkling riverbanks or beaches. Why not opt for a 1930s semi-detached down a quiet street, cul-de-sac or close with luscious gardens for the kids and dog to play in. Highrise more up your street? then go for a lofty apartment in Iona's residential riverside towers, affording views of the city and river and marine area.
