  1. Stone Creek

Stone creek has to be in my top 5 favorite CJ's. I simply love all of it!
  2. Corraile | Reborn (AIN)

The Empire is impressed with the sheer beauty of Corraile. The Queen may pay a visit soon on vacation.
  3. The Kingdom of Illium // ISIS Targets the Alliance

Well, I accidentally left my SC4 disc over at my parent's place for the holidays. I thought about getting a no-CD patch (don't worry, I legally own the game haha), but I am not sure how it could adversely affect custom content, so we'll just have to wait. My first big project will be the Sariah International Airport revamp. I'm changing it's location slightly from where it was in the old CJ (one tile northwest of the current location) so I could have more room to build without destroying half of of the towns around it (Including the major suburbs of Denton and Frisco)
  4. Show us your Farm Land!

So.. does this count? I mean.. it's in the middle of the farmlands!
  5. New SorGun

I say porthaven. The railroad company would choose the best location based on cost-effectiveness. The closeness to the mill, the mountain railway, and the possibility of a growing port would be the smart thing. Plus, if the rail company wanted to, it could expand southward towards California, and run through all 3 towns, giving them all explosive growth, and of course taking advantage of all 3 locations (good port area from Materberg, the cultural center of New Sorgun and the mill & army base in Porthaven.) It makes sense, if you think about it
  6. How to get rid of the sidewalks?

The best way to avoid this is to switch to RHW then back when you want sidewalks.
  7. Ben's Top Ten +10

    Wow. Completely unexpected! Thanks, Ben!
  8. :: WELCOME! :: First and foremost, I would like to welcome you to my newest CJ, The Calistan Protectorate, a protectorate annex of the Illium Empire. The brutal war between the Calistan Federation and the ended with the nuclear destruction of the Calistan city of Las Colinas and subsequent defeat of the Federation, which was formed into the newly formed Calistan Protectorate. Below, you will see some demographic data on this new country. :: ABOUT THE NATION :: Here is the Calistan Protectorate's new flag. As it is a protectorate of the Illium Empire, the Illium Nation Seal can be seen on the left side. The Red background stands for the blood shed of the forefathers of this nation and the strength that the bloodshed has brought to the nation. The Black slash signifies the fortitude and strength of the Calistan Protectorate, that stands clear and strong against the bloodred background. The eagle signifies the strength and sovereignty of the Calistan Protectorate. The Eagle is the national symbol of the Calistan Protectorate. The Olive Branch was only just recently, signifying the peace that stands between The Illium Empire and the Calistan Protectorate, but remains red to remember the significant losses incurred in the the war. As you can see, Calistan is located just across the Gulf of Calistan, due North of the Illium Empire. And here we have a closer view of the nation, which is divided into 6 provinces. The Dakara-Calistan DMZ has been in effect for almost 50 years now, as the nation has been in a border dispute with the Republic of Dakara for as long as anyone can remember. It is hoped that with the new rule of the Illium Empire, that the dispute will be settled, and a permanent border placed. Each Province Capitol is listed as well. A new Province Capitol for the Antinorde Province will need to be selected, as Las Colinas is no longer habitable. And here is the Lost City of Las Colinas, which fell during the war. That's it for the introduction. I assure you all that this CJ will meet/exceed the quality of the Illium CJ. I will keep both going as concurrent projects. As always, comments, criticism and +1's are always welcome! Til next time! -daTS Coming in the next update: Athosia Nuclear Power Plant & Surrounding Area.
  9. Ben's Top Ten +10

lol +10? whaaat? nawh. You kiddin' man. All I did was post a single picture of cockatoo's beautiful United Nations building and a (badly) photoshopped flyer. I must be famous or something Congrats to the winners, of course. We could never live without our felines.
  10. The Calistan Protectorate \\ Embassy Bombing

Well, I *WAS* going to have a full update by this weekend, but we had an issue at the plant and I ended up working 14 hour days every day this week. (I work as a Quality Control Engineer at Peterbilt Denton, and we just had a new line of truck come out, and it's riddled with problems)... So, I'll just post a little teaser until (hopefully) this weekend I can get a decent update in. I'm working on the capitol city, but it's coming along slowly. :: REPLIES :: wcraig: I know, work has me swamped! The Embassy building will of course survive, but a statement has been made. Sim_Link: Thanks! I hope to get more active... hope. And yes, those are biohazards symbols, but that's more of a scare tactic. vivapanda: Yes, I'm back. I tend to lurk at the moment. LexusInfernus: Naturally, but violent resistance is a bit more. And thank you! :: TEASER ::
  11. Rape of Nogovicka...

Oh that's really good. The F-15 and the bridge is very reminiscent of "I Am Legend" with Will Smith (that's a good thing). Diego is right though. The title is a bit inappropriate for the age range that this site hosts.
  12. The Calistan Protectorate \\ Embassy Bombing

Citizens in the Capitol Province started getting flyers like this on their doorstep. Something dark is coming. A package, labeled with this flyer, was found on the front doorstep of the Illium Embassy in Calistan City. Is that... beeping you hear? This song sets the mood for it:
  13. Show us What you're Working On

I'm baaaaaaaack! Just need to finish the night-lighting.
  14. Show us your Small Towns

Ruegenhoek, a small town in the Capitol Province of the Calistan Protectorate. It would only be half it's size if it weren't for the Athosia Power Station nearby.
  15. aww, what happened to the ship the Empire gifted? That's a beautiful island, though. I look forward to seeing it develop.
  16. Well, I've fallen dormant, a captive of Real-Life Syndrome. :(

    1. T Wrecks

      T Wrecks

Oh noes! Dreaded real life, our eternal nemesis, strikes again. :( I hope you'll recover from that blow!

    2. SAVAGExPHOENIX

      SAVAGExPHOENIX

It's an ongoing blow... 60+ hours a week at work, on varying shifts. All I do is eat, sleep, and occasionally drive. :/

I really want to finish up the South Illium Bay turnpike area so I can update it :/

  17. Show us Your Interchanges!

This looks a lot like the President George Bush Turnpike & TX114 interchange in Irving, TX. I used to drive that when visiting my parents near DFW. I like it.
  18. Show us Your Interchanges!

part of a (much) larger 950 million credit project, spanning the south end of the Illium Bay.
  19. Crash to Desktop? Look here first.

Damn. I have to run mine in software mode. I encounter a lot of problems in hardware mode :/
  20. Crash to Desktop? Look here first.

I get a random CTD with the Appalachian terrain mod. I've got no other terrain mod installed. Just with that one. I've narrowed it down to the texture pack file... sadly, even a re-download doesn't fix it.
  21. New SorGun

I love this. I simply love this.
  22. BSC-VIP Girafe EDF Tower

When I read EDF, I was thinking it was gonna be some EDF tower as seen in Red Faction: Guerrilla. Great tower though!
  23. New SorGun

I'll chip in a name, but Fort Valiant is pretty nice too. I say keep it simple and recognizable: Camp Sorgun (It can later grow into a true fort, akin to how "Camp Jackson" grew into Fort Jackson, SC)
  24. 14. Spedbury, the dividing line.

You have the most amazing cities. I could look at them for hours..
  25. New SorGun

I run an empire that simultaneously warred against two nations at once, fought in in a war where an enemy couldn't be seen, and keep my own design business afloat, so this shouldn't be a problem at all. (I know it doesn't fit the criteria, but it was fun to say )
