Sounds like you're missing some dependencies...try to locate the stuff you've downloaded already from the STEX, and see in the Readme file what (probably texture) files are you missing. -
It doesn't really matter if the land value in the middle of the park is low, as long as around it is high...the bigger the park, the worse the land value in the center, for example, the golf course... And about the random low land values...well, there just has to be, no city is all rich...

Such an amazing video, congrats!!!

Fort Martin County, Florida - A Tropical CJ
s_olah replied to mnmsimmer's topic in SC4 City Journals
The colors are spectacular, I really like the airport, even though it's a Maxis one. I can see a bright future for this CJ, although, I think it's not going to be a long lasting one...Keep up the great work... -
I just read the whole story of Flint, and I must say it is very interesting. The fire sounds bad, and all that unemployment...Hoping the city will recover soon...

Welcome to my second CJ. Saint George, first mentioned in the McGregor settlement in 1862, has come long way since then. Now, in 1998 it is a town of thousands, and the home of Mayor Bloomberg, elected this year. Stats of McGregor State: Capital:.............................Capital City ( 253.204- 1996 census) Official language: ...........English Government:.....................Unitary semi-presidential republic Independence:.................1862 may 02 Area:....................................12.062 sq miles Population:.........................1.652.300 ( 1996 census) GDP Total:..........................35 billion GDP per capita:..................17.099 (1995 census) Calling code:.......................+025 Flag: Saint George stats: Area:.....................................12 sq miles (1998) Population:..........................2.245 Density:................................147.08/sq mi Car Plates:...........................SG 0 Aerial photo taken from plane by farmer Johnson, the owner of the 1 sq mile farmland in Saint George. (1996) The newly renovated train station, a landmark of Saint George, because of it's beauty, and it's age...(102 years). It's a remarkable piece of architecture!, said Mayor Bloomberg. The Memorandum Bridge, the second landmark of Saint George (89 years old). Discussions had been made between the mayor and the Roads and Bridges Ministry to rebuild it, since it is on the edge of collapse. Stay tuned, as tomorrow population hits 5.000, Bridge Margaret is built, and Saint George stays hip, as the city inaugurates a new state of the art Fire Station!
