Perfect for the slums of Sim-Nation. In real life, I will be glad to see these places leave Arizona in 2010

I suppose I was a little harsh. Thanks to you guys for letting me know. I just get so fed up with the fact that out of the 15,000 STEX files, two thirds are hardly used. It just kind of clogs the system, you know? Sorry dgrill. It's not personal in the least. At least you didn't copy somebody's, give it a new name and re-post it! : ) (Yes, that's been done before)

Nice, but I wonder if it could be done to make it like this only during in-game winter while going back to regular in other months.

Although this may just be a textured ball, as this upload is in .3ds format, it
  10. 2 points
There is nothing inherently wrong with it, being properly labeled as a 3ds model. Also, no where does it say it is a sc4 model file (although you forgot to include your "accurate texture and diffuse maps"). That being said, it would be nice to see a SC4 perspective render of this from BAT or BAT4MAX so that we can tell how it would look in game if it were to be exported. Right now, we can not tell if that is a render of a good looking model of simply a picture of the moon.

Jezus53: A proper terrain mod should not crash the game when it is removed. I don't know which one you are using. Try posting the problem at the SimPeg site and we'll try to help you figure it out.

Well, I guess I traded one problem for a new one. I have found out the problem was that I had a terrain mod installed and I had forget to uninstall it. The new problem? My game now crashes. So I went and deleted both the terrain mod and this one and I had the same result. I then reinstalled the original terrain mod and everything was fine. Anyone got a fix for this?
  16. 1 point
Well, it puts snow on everything but the terrain. Any reason why?

This looks AMAZING. I just had to download it as soon as I saw it, and now I can't wait to start up the game and see what it all looks like! :D

funny, although I clearly explained several times that this is a simple "untextured white Ball" for the 3D program and not directly for SC4 and nothing else, still some of you believe in what they see on the picture. @drgill55 , you really know how to draw attention......lol...Hats off!

And by the way, most ya'll here are making stupid, unfriendly, and flat out unessecary posts on this. simfox's 3 comments make alot of sense on this.

It's not rendered as a SC4 model, it is a simple 3ds file for the 3DS program without textures. It's just a simple white Ball in 3ds format. Nothing else! Everyone can make a ball! Why upload something like this and use up costly space for BATs and Lots? C'mon now. If this stays, I will upload a yellow ball next time and call it Jupiter.....lol...be realistic and logical.

    I rendered it with sketchup.

    It's a cheap 3Ds model file , nothing else.

150K Amps? Oh geeez, I will have to build a nuclear plant now. lol. Man, glad you uploaded this and broke the chain of some very poor uploads in the last week or so (except for 4 to 5 on the last 3 pages) Excellent BAT, this is a very good sample of what the STEX needs. Excellent job, keep'em coming! Industrials are always welcome. Thanks.
