I assume you are either referring to SC4, and that's a typo, or SC2013, which is almost extinct now! Either/or, welcome to the forum.

I'm very happy because I found this fantastic site!

Despite playing SimCity 4 when I was young, never knew of it's modding scene. 

I played loong long ago, when I was maybe 18 or 19 years old without a beard to grow and casually playing the game, for the fun of watching a living city created by me, but never went deep in its mechanics.

Now recently y rebought the game from steam and a new world of modding opens before me.

Hello!

I loved SC4 as a teenager and I've been trying to get it up and running again on my current PC. Maybe it's just the nostalgia, but it feels like it offers a different experience compared to newer City Builders like C:S. Looking forward to meeting new friends and getting full access to the discord server

Hello!

Figured it was time I made a proper introduction here even though I have been a fan of the game since the SimCity 3000 days. I have original boxes with CDs of 3000, 3000 Unlimited, SimCity 4 Deluxe and I even have a steam purchase of Cities Skylines.

I started playing again and forgot how much I got into this game with various mods during my college years in 2009-2012. I'm a bit overwhelmed with how the mods have changed given that I have some of the original NAM and CAM mods as well as the various bug fixes. I figured I might as well make a proper intro before I start using this forum again.

Hi, i'm Nick, happy to be a part of this group. I used to play SimCity 4 for years, stop playing, then downloaded it again and am thoroughly enjoying it once more. I don't remember, however, when downloading a plugin, do you always have to download the dependencies??

Welcome!

Yes it is generally advised to have all dependencies for a given lot. If any are missing, in their place you will either see a brown box or nothing at all (depending on what kind of dependency they are). Most of the time it is not something that will break or crash the game.

Hi, big thanks to the community here for info and found a few of the members youtube how to SC4, has been very helpful. Last time I played was SC2000 about 25 years ago. Also hoping to be approved so I can join discord channel cause I have some serial questions about ports and have added a few mods (NAM, fix, radius, job capacities)  and keen to hang out with some people and stream a lil bit of SC4 from a professional noobs perspective. Hope it's okay, borrowed Altana jpeg for temp profile pic on simtropolis.

I just bought SC4 and am downloading some interesting, essential mods. The only reason I would buy SC4 was that there's this forum and others that do mod support. I wish I knew of Simtropolis back 11 years ago when I got SC 2013 and had difficulties getting the Space Shuttle to work.
