This might seen desperate or even pathetically lazy on my part, but does a mod exist which essentially gets rid of the over-importance of proper traffic control.

i.e. I won't have to worry about traffic problems and always make subways, interstates, and monorails.

Something which makes it like the older games where traffic is far less game breaking.

As for the midrises in your first picture maybe you could use some of Bixel's buildings? Like THIS, THIS or THIS

Are there good "port packs" with few dependencies? I do have one dependency pack I think, lemme check.. Yes I do, its called NDEX Global Essentials.

If you're looking for ports search for them in the search box but they all have dependancys. You need to get them all for proper functionality, so there is no way to garentee that the dependancy count is low.

I suggest spending some time downloading nothing but dependencys. You WILL need them so you just have to spend some time doing the meaniel work of hunting down all the dependancys there are. Luckily I have a link to SC4Devotion's dependency section in my sig. I'd sugest you get cracking.

BTW: The most important files are PROP PACKS, TEXTURE PACKS, and ESSENTIALS by different teams like LBT, BSC, NYBT, TSC, SG, PEG, ect.

Probably not the best forum for this, but when you download material from the SC4 Lot Exchange they are placed in the Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder. You should find them in the appropriate menus when you run the game.

I don't know of any mods that only raises the maximum height, but I do know, that a lot of the terrain mods available do it.

Try a search for "cycledogg" on the STEX, he/she has released many great terrain mods.
