Hey everyone, I'm looking for a specific electricity/utility overhaul mod I saw some time ago. It changed up the way powerplants work and operate, but for the life of me I can't think of the name of it or find it in my history. If I recall, it followed the trend of *AM naming if that helps at all. Hopefully someone knows what I'm referring to, thanks in advance for any help!

Hey, I'm looking for a few Japanese BATs I found while browsing some city journals and other forums. The problem with this is there's no guarantee they even exist anymore due to how many of the Japenese sites have gone down over the years. So if anyone has any information on the following BATS, your input would be much appreciated, even if it is no longer possible to obtain them. Thank you.

Don Quixote (the fancy building on the left with the blue, pink and black facade), Toranoana Store B (the taller one on the right, not the one (Store A) on the left, which I've already managed to find and obtain), and Taito Game Station (directly to the right of Toranoana Store B).

Shosen Book Tower (on the far right, behind and to the right of the Asian Corner Shop (by William).

These two have already been asked about by another user several years before, but apparently, no one ever responded to their inquery. Anyways the BATs surrounded by the red square, Taito Station/Shosen Books, and the bluish building to the left of it.

And Comic Toranoana (middle-right square, not really interested in the one on the left, and I already figured out where to find the one on the lower right (Kyushu Tandori, part of Nippon City Block pack by Fatsuhono (a.k.a. Nihonkaranws).

And finally, AOKI (to the right of Ishimaru Denki (by William).

Again, no guarantee I'll be able to obtain them given the fact that most of the Japanese BAT websites are now dead links, but one can always hope, right. If anyone has any info, please let me know, even if that info is simply confirming what I've already come to expect (that they are no longer obtainable). Thank you very much.

Hi, Yes most are lost. Toranaona indeed but there still some chinese & hong kong bat´s around to make something. Some real hard look into the community members personal archived files or game backups may reveal some. Recreating some of the iconic buildings from the pictures another option, unlikely. Colour fullness of these Bat´s without doubt masterpeaces, allthought at the time splendid, graphic development, today would be marvelous if created. SimCity 4 custom Bat´s for now meed mostly specialized themes, most western world europe america we have enough. Asia, india, africa, south africa, ancient babylon and egypt still we are missing out !

@kschmidt Thanks for the feedback. I've actually already managed to obtain a large percentage of them already, having played the game since it was released (I'm a veteran player...well, sort of. I always sort of sucked at actually getting my city beyond the earliest stages, lol). Either way, thanks for the advice regardless. Have a great day.

I agree with your comment.
SimCity 4 was very popular in Japan, but it has already been lost.
That's why several BAT creators' sites have been shut down.
The only saving grace is that BATs from China, Hong Kong and Korea can be used as alternatives.
(East Asian architecture has many similarities.)
And I strongly hope and wait for new creators to spread new BATs of this kind to the world.

I wish I could BAT, then I could recreate many of these and other awesome buildings myself (I am particularly  fond of BATs with giant neon and digital adverts like those found in Akihabara, Dogenzaka, Ginza, Kabukicho, Times Square, Picadilly Circus, etc.)

I’m starting my hand at East Asian BATs.  Coming soon if I can get them to where I want them.

One area I may need help from the community would be to BAT the signage in HD because complex kanji characters are often illegible.  I would provide the gmax file, all that would be needed is to export it as a prop.

but either way, got some in the pipeline to complete and release.
