Thanks!! Now it works without any issue in my side, cims can use them correctly and the metro line also works fine, and the station looks so cool!!

Now we have all three cases metro station working ,great!!

@R3V0 The station works fine and looks great! But for me it's way too large and wide... I'm a fan of rather functional and space saving infrastracture.

I also made smaller, 2x1 one way track version, it's 24 meters wide (half the width of what you have right now)

Ground station I've published will do just that. (Assuming I figure out ped path connections and how to snap modules next to each other like Bad Peanut's station)

So I'm using this mod now and I've encountered a few problems when using the asset editor:

First, I'm unable to create any new variations of the basic m100 metro. I tried to create two alternate versions, one that was 2/3's as long and one that was 1/3 as long as the original, but all that happened was that all the original m100's disappeared from my game, and suddenly there were no metro vehicles in my game at all. I've done the same procedure many times before with trains and trams, but it didn't work with the metros for some reason.

Second, I can't find the ground-level and aboveground metro station track in the asset editor. I wanted to take a ground-level train station and convert it to a metro station, but that's pretty hard when it's not possible to select the station tracks. Metro station tunnels from the vanilla game are still available, of course.

    I didn't make the trains so I would have to ask @BloodyPenguin.  As far as the station tracks are concerned, that is is by design.  Just access the ground version (any version you can get in ModTools) and then use pgup and pgdn to get the flavor you want.  I don't have icons for them in the asset editor which is just from my procrastination but when I get the icon it will work that way too.

    I wonder if it have the potential to break save games. Or will it only break tunnels?
    Or is it safe to run this version until final is released?

    I ran it on 1000 mods and 100k city it worked without any problems.

    That's great, but I'm still curious if is expected to be safe to migrate to the final mod from an alpha-savegame.

    I am not entirely sure but I am leaning toward yes, I will keep them compatible.  There was a change I wanted to make but it is not that important, at least not enough to temporarily break everything.  That being said until release, the program is still in Alpha.  Since there will be a crazy amount of new stuff to add to the release over the coming months, it may be an ongoing beta which basically means that there shouldn't be any sweeping game-breaking changes but there will be a lot of moving parts.  

    Anyway, always back up your cities, especially if you want to use a city you like.

    Can someone reply me with the mod so I can try it out? Ive tried the very early version but now I want to use it on my new city with assets.

    P.S is there a multi stop station asset available for this? If there is can you leave the file or a link to it??

    The current files can be downloaded from the link in page 7 in this thread.  There is no multi-platform asset yet, only a few ground level or elevated stations that are still in development.

    Late comment is late, I did ask simply because I do not like metro for aesthetic/CJ reasons (you can't see the trains) so I use a lot of elevated rail to build my metro networks; not to mention many metro networks are overground as much as they are underground.

    I would still love a proper enhancement to the actual metro options in the game though, including overground and maybe underground view, but I haven't been here for a while so idk how far you've progressed (or anyone). Though tbh I can always use other mods to force a train line to use a specific stock, then tweak the values for that specific stock to be more metro-like.

    But hey late reply is late, I'll take a gander at the 17 extra pages of stuff that have been added since my last visit :P

    Modtools. Navigate to scene explorer then to metrooverhaul then to metro station track ground

    Anyways I finished my station. It is based off of Rosedale Station here in Toronto; the difference being Rosedale is 2 floors since track level is in a trench, while this model is only 1 level. The trees in the back need to be moved over.

    I need to move some of those trees around, and I would like to add some lighting for night time. Ill be sure to post it when its done! I also plan on doing some other of stations like Yorkdale.

    It should be possible.The size would be an issue though. The Sub-Buildings enabler mod could probably fix that though.

    Yeah, I hope! I'll see if I can for the first time model something. :P I don't think the yard itself can be made yet, though. We still don't have single/one way tracks.

    Yea. I would start with Davisville since it is the smallest. Also I personally don't think the entire yard is needed, just the maintenance building. It would still require the mod. I would consider it but I am not to good with the Sub Buildings mod.

    Umm, I might give some try in creating some above-road station at some point as that is something really needed in my case. Imma have a look :)
