  1. 1. Which expansions to rail based public transit would you like me to work on?

I'm aiming for the cars to be in line with the stock MoM cars, which I believe I made to be 6 cars holding 50 people each, for exactly 300. It might be even lower, who knows.

So the R160 is probably going to have 50-60 passengers per car and the R142 is probably going to have 40-45 passengers per car. In the MoM cars, all metro trains have only 40-60 seats per car, and there is no room for standing passengers. To enable room for standing passengers, either Improved Public Transport or Advanced Vehicle Options (or sometimes both mods) has to be used, which can increase or reduce the MoM cars' capacity.

I have used Improved Public Transport to increase the capacity of the vanilla metro vehicles since I am using the Realistic Population and Consumption Mod. Is the MoM mod going to be compatible with both Improved Public Transport and Transport Lines Manager mods?

The design of the new extended length New York City Subway underground metro stations that are to be used with the MoM mod should have IND-styled interiors for the stations. Those stations should have colored bands on the white walls closest to the platforms colored in orange, green, blue, or violet.

It looks better already! :thumb: I'd love if this were to come out soon! By the way, would it be possible to make switches more realistic? Currently they're just a jumble of rails stuck together, with one of them branching off.

Might be possible by making custom node meshes, but nodes are tricky since they stretch in every direction, depending on the angle of the intersection. Another way would be to automatically place certain props on intersections only (can be done with 'flags' I believe) with a mod.

Is this an unusual time of year to have exams? A lot of classes at my school have two sets of midterms, I just had 5 exams this past week.

Yeah, exams are quiet common in NLs universities in november - I had them at my 1/2 semester in Maastricht too. So you got four times per year exams. Good luck Tim! Also nice work on those rails! :)

I am requesting that the following stations be modeled for use as metro stations for the MoM mod:

New York City Subway Elevated Side Platform Station (based off of a station on the IRT Pelham Line)

New York City Subway Elevated Island Platform Station (based off of a station on the BMT West End Line)

New York City Subway Underground Station (uses NYC Subway generic entrance, interior based on IND subway stations)

Washington Metro Underground Station

Washington Metro Elevated Station

Tokyo Metro Underground Station

@j4lambert Ok, look. This isn't somewhere where you can just come on and request stuff; Mod/assets creators are already really busy with their own stuff. Try making some yourself.

I would prefer building my metro system elevated and underground than just underground.

We all were not able to do so at some point. You gotta try and fail, then try again - only this way you gonna learn how to do stuff done, not only modding games. You wrote 7 posts, 4 of them are simply requests. There are good tutorials on using Blender and importing models to C:S - In my opinion it's the easiest game to get that topic started.

@JSF-1 I would love to give all of these a shot. I've been working on a city that makes extensive use of MOM, and these would be great addition, especially the elevated stations. Thanks for all your hard work!

So I've been using Metro Overhaul for a while now, and honestly - everything works perfectly! (aside from a few minor issues.) These minor issues are just above-ground lines not appearing, default "depot" set to station, and there are no station cross-overs. I've also used it with the train/train station converter today, and that's going great! :)
