I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Five to two!! That's sorely needed in NBVC's set!

I'd like to point out the textures. Going through the picture piece by piece for me its like ... ah .... and ... oh ... and... wow. Only the concrete pipes on the truck I wasn't shure, if they would need an even more grainy, granular texture to prevent them for looking metal or plastic like. But difficult to judge from the picture on my monitor. I found myself - small grey props (concrete) are difficult to texture as if they are to plain they very quick look like "you forgot to put a texture on it." But then look on those pipes! Very realistic, not blotty but seamless, some rust on the yellow, every puzzle piece different with no repetition on the surface. Great.

In any case, consider that concrete really looks that clean when recently poured. Maybe, just maybe, a way to show the material would be to add a trademark stencil on one of the pieces, something they usually do to use their delivery truck as a moving ad. I'm on the phone right now, but I could came wth a reference photo if the idea sticks

In other news, I cleaned off my desk for the first time in a year and a half.

Does it happen to you too, that after cleaning your desk you don't find the notes, the papers, the stuff anymore – and therefore you don't like to clean it up as chaos seems the best form of organisation for a desk?

Lol

I made the same organization you made, and with the wallet on the desktop too.

Nailed it! *:thumb: I welcome the addition of new vehicles, too - especially because these are not just restricted to a Japanese environment, but act as a good representation of modern trucks in general, especially European ones. They'd also lend themselves to a few colour variations - orange, a medium green and white/light grey come to mind, for example.

It's amazing how you managed to pull off making yellow vehicles that clearly look yellow, but without any annoying glare.

If I had to nitpick one tiny thing, it'd be that bigger bright splotch on the loading floor of those open trucks, which gives away that the texture has been recycled. However, this is such a minor observation that it would be overkill to re-render just because of that.

Splendid work!

I decided to take the opportunity to start a quick project, which has the added benefit of making me diversify my Japanese truck collection.

(Highlighting by me)

This text passage makes me think that the vehicles will be made available separately. And it would be a shame not to do so, too!

TBH, I don't have a clue what that roof material might be on the original building, but judging by the Google Maps screenshot, I'd say you nailed whatever it may be pretty much. Those containers look great, too - I guess they're of the 20ft variant?
