@TarkusWTF?????? (Where are The Foxes????)

This last picture,  I can't really understand what I'm looking at :D :D :D Well, does it mean that we are approaching to the elevated NWM networks?

Amazing work!
Thank you very much! :)

the development looks great!

@Tarkus p.s. how the pedestrians are supposed to cross the intersection, when there's extremely narrow sidewalks on the 10-lane roads?

Pathing-wise this is amazing. It reminds me a lot of how overpasses work in Texas, with a four lane road approaching a freeway sprouts a turn lane that goes straight across the stoplight and then turns left. (I work in Houston)

What I have yet to see (and I think I suggested this many, many years) was a way for highways to exit onto OWRs that parallel the highway and have stoplights at major intersections. It may have been done already, I don't know. (Usually this comes in a few flavors, sometimes it creates a third or fourth lane on the OWR, sometimes the OWR slims down to one lane to allow for the new exit to create a new lane, sometimes it involves yield signs).

Thanks, Tyberius, velrox, Living In The Past and everyone for the support!

A little cosmetic update on it . . . got rid of the through arrows on the overpass, after looking at some rather nifty examples in Arizona.

The paths are there just on the very edge, and do seem to fit onto the sidewalk, though I agree it's a bit tighter than I'd like.  The most likely solution is a slight overhang . . . since this overpass isn't going to be next to a bunch of zones or other roads, the impact of doing so should be minimal.

The RealExpressway (REW) project that eggman121 is presently developing will add ramps to the OWRs.  It should be possible to get some frontage road configurations that mix RHW and OWR that way.

It's still March 31st here in Oregon, so I can assure you this is very much real (and just went out for internal testing).

nam37-a01-03312019.jpg

This is likely one of the last times you'll see this installer/configuration.  We've been having a rather productive discussion internally about the plans for the installer/packaging/file architecture over the past couple weeks, and will be sharing some proposals and soliciting feedback on those fairly soon.

It's not an update and not even formal, but as far as I know during the first tests we encountered several issues which are related to the installer. So likely we need a new installer which is in progress, although the problems with the SC4 Devotion site will delay the work on the NAM I assume.

Be patient, eventually it will come.

To add onto Tyberius' comments, there's been zero NAM activity since about May 1st.  Alpha Build 01 for NAM 37 went out for testing on March 31st, and I encountered the fatal installer glitch on April 27th, which several other teammates subsequently replicated.  I did get a start on stuffing NAM 37 into the new installer system, but the SC4D situation ended up taking all of my SC4 time, which had already become more limited due to an uptick in RL.

At this point, based on even heavier RL on the horizon, the fact that SC4D still needs to be moved, and the further work needed on the installer and resultant file architecture changes, unfortunately, it's likely going to be at least a few more weeks before testing can resume.

There was a patch issued for that over at SC4 Devotion back in April 2018.  I've attached it here.

This is going to make the 2x2 roundabouts much more viable in RHW setups. I see some errors in the second and third screenshots, though...

Hey Tarkus.....

Any chance the NAM team will revisit the type 230 setup in the future?

Thanks (and sorry to dredge up an old post) :)

Looks amazing; I cannot help but wonder how cosmetic pieces would work with this secret weapon.

I am aware that there are long-term plans to turn cosmetic pieces into a FLEX-based system.
