Both "periodic" and "periodic" words have nothing to do with each other. The word referring to the table means that it is regular and establishes some periods. On the other hand the periodic acid is an accepted deformation of the word "hyperiodic". Any oxoacid in which main element is actuating with its highest possible oxidation number will be a "acid perwhateveric".

And this is one of the reasons that the SI nomenclature for chemistry came into existence.  Being a traditionalist, I have serious trouble with it.

^ Considering there are thousands of plugins for SimCity 4, it's possible to have a SimCity game that meets what's depicted in the expectation panel. Though in order to get there, you'd need hundreds of hours to download and test as well as the countless dependencies..

I miss some aspects of SC3k.  I wish it ran better under Wine.  At least I'm still able to play SC2k and SimTower occasionally under the Basilisk emulator...
