In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

(Harry Lime to Holly Martins...Graham Greene's THE THIRD MAN...1949)

These need a lot of changes but it's a fun weekend project for me. There's a big void in industrial areas that I'm trying to fill in these types of dealers, i.e. construction rental dealers, forklift dealers, light equipment dealers, that I am looking to fill. Sunbelt and United both have 2000 locations combined globally, so I guess they should expand into SC4 as well.

Good !! But both roof textures look a little bit stretched, and weird imo especially the second one.

Oh yeah, I completely agree. I hate the roof textures right now, and they are placeholders. I am trying some different modeling with them. I also don't like the blue on the United Rentals, it's too light and too clean so that's getting some changes to it.

Continuing my work of re-doing my region of Euromerica, I have finally built the city of Campo Verde. This took almost three days, and even though it's not completely done, it is done enough to look like a major city. After working on Campo Verde, I added two new cities: Vallejo Pass, west of Barkfield, and Santa Sara/Ventucopa, west of Capilly. Both of which took me less than a day.

The city of Santa Sara-Ventucopa (which is one city tile, but the two cities are supposed to be in different parts of the tile)

A WIP shot of the south Elmfield district. This area is almost finished and features the majestic Sir Robert and Lady Jefferson Gallery and Park  as well as the Perseus National Tennis Centre, a world championship venue and national tennis training facility.

First full update should be ready within the coming week or so.

Mr Dreadnought, sir, I am very excited by your Imperial Docks project and I think it is coming along swimmingly. And where did you find such fine ships?! I have a good set of them but they do not look quite like yours. Could you point me in the right direction? Thank you.

I'm on it, Mate -- *:thumb:

AND -- THANK YOU for the kind words.  I've been pounding away at it for about three weeks, now.  It is slow going -- but much of the work is very intricate and some is complicated.  PLUS -- if I come across something I need, I usually have to stop and make my own lots.

But it is something I have always wanted to do -- and now it is possible !!

I'm still trying to decide whether or not to do a CJ --

ANYONE INTERESTED IN THE WHOLE THING --?
