THANK YOU!!

I have a lot of the lots and bats installed on my SC4, didn't use them all yet. I especially love the highway barriers: these look so much better than the one on STEX, and they go flush with the roadways. All the EL-trains look prettier than the default (and very ugly!) model, although the rail-to-EL piece has a messed up view at a certain angle... forgot which direction it is though.

haha the highway barriers were my favourite too, what a coincidence
Thanks again Armandeus for your hard work, my comment may be short but I agree with every other comment in this thread 9.gif

Wow, I was not expecting anyone to ever model the Asakusa Twelve Stories--a true funky Meiji gem, as this period print of the amusement tower depicts.

For those who are interested, the tower dramatically broke in half during the great 1923 earthquake, and the upper half toppled into a nearby pond.

Now, I wonder if any of our Japanese BAT masters are thinking of working on Osaka's structurally funky-yet-cool Tsutenkaku . The perfect towering magnet to attract giant 1960's monsters.

I have to say, the Ryounkaku from Ragutaro is pretty fantastic!!

Armandeus...If I hadn't mentioned it already, thanks for tagging the Japanese sites to your sig. 44.gif I thought it might help those who hadn't kept track...and, it can be challenging, as you know.

Odainsaker...thanks for the bit of history. It always makes it more interesting to have some kind of history behind some of the BATs/Lots.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments and support. Special thanks to Odainsaker for starting this thread.
Here are three new lots. The first is BAT of a Mitsubishi Motors dealership by JAX-LA. Picture here , download here . I have no other info on this.
The second is a wind power station lot by Bikutori you can place in the water. Picture here , download here .
Finally there is a track and field/soccer stadium by mk. You can get it here . As you can see below, it is a CS$$$ lot with 171 jobs.

I don't think that these tunnels are transit enabled...according to the translation.

ok but what kind of tunnels are they
    quote>

In the photo, to me, it looks as though the building on the edge of the cliff or embankment isn't transit enabled...looks as though there is a car park there. Anyway, this is what I got from the translation:

It is the tubular aerial tunnel. It is not possible to pass. It is addition of the pavement area.

As you can see in the posts, it doesn't look like there's more mention of it after April 2004. 34.gif

armedeaus could you please tell me what this is I hope you havent already said couldnt find anything.

As others have pointed out, they are just eye candy. They are not transit-enabled. The tunnels are 20 squares long.

Here are two similar lots by JAX-LA, the creator of the Mitsubishi car dealership. This time we have the two types (selling different lines of cars) of Nissan dealerships, Blue Stage and Red Stage . No other info is given.

    Armandeus,

I downloaded those nissan dealerships last night I love em Although they do not have outdoor cars on display, So I just created a couple of parking lots to plop down beside them to add a little more realism, I hope he keeps creating these.

    Hi.
You are quite right Armandeus. I think the majority of people are getting fed up with the lazy minority who can't even bother to read the previous two messages before they ask the inevitable S question.
Thanks very much for the good work.
    Eddie.

Armandeus, you do a really great job finding and logging all these amazing BATs, but do you have any way of suggesting to the Japanese what they might build? Is there a request thread on Sim City Force, or somewhere else? I know this is asking a helluva lot, cause you already do loads liasing between both sides.

It's just that I would really like to see more stadiums (and other sports arenas) like the one above. Don't get me wrong, I like train stations just as much as the next person, but with their thriving J-League, the 2002 World Cup, and some exciting modern architects, there must be some superb stadiums in Japan too. I have that indoor football one that appeared right at the start of this thread, but I wouldn't mind seeing more.

Also the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Gymnasium , and Tokyo's Makuhari City development look amazing and ripe for BATting. Makuhari looks like Simcity anyway 4.gif. (I have a book on Japanese architecture 43.gif)

I don't want to start a trend here, cause I know how vast our Simtropolis request thread has got but... I'd just like to know what you reckon? Perhaps I could put these suggestions also to our Japanese residents NOB and Raika?

Before I proceed, this link is to one of our members, Equinox. It is one of the many links that I've saved with Japanese lots/BATS. It is listed somewhere in this thread, possibly listed in one of my posts or Armandeus'. It contains some of SOMY's lots and the much sought after Microwave. Thanks go to Equinox for having this listed online!!!
EDIT!! Oops, here's the correct link: http://spartan117.simvision.net/Mods/
