I just go to the open discussion room and can't find my thread, and I was like what the HELL? Then I find here~and I was like AWSOME!!! We got our own room now. How cool is that!! Thanks DragonAnime!

I am thinking in the future there will be different rooms for all parts of the world like North America room, European room ect. Just like in the skyscrapercity.com.

Why not? I think it's the best way to get everybody used to the new possibilities. Now every BATter will have no other choice but to start his own showcase, which is good. Likewise, different discussions will not be continued in the old thread, but posted in new ones.

I was as surprised as you, but I actually like that this old monster thread was locked. It might take a while to salvage some important content from it and copy it into new threads, but IMHO the result will be worth the trouble.

Uhm... just a quick note to everybody that I won't be here over the weekend. I'll leave in an hour or two to go to the Progpower Festival in Holland, and I won't be back before Monday. So no news from me for the time being...

Hey guys, is anything going on here? HKABT has been pretty idle, and you guys are probably busy, but just wanted to see a status report, or atleast see your alive!! lol

Ok, I'm not one of the BATters, but even I can tell you some things:

- Sorrento is waiting for a render of the definite model.

- Lippo Centre v3 is nearing completion; Paul said he might have time to finish it this weekend.

- HK Tower Pack 3 has just been released, and I have already come up with alternative lot designs and plan to release a second version.

- Chelsea Court has been rendered successfully this week, and in two alternative versions at that. I'm on the job, but making lots for such enormous buildings and filling all the surrounding tiles with something that'll look good without trailing behind 5 dependencies takes several days.

- An individual tower based on Chelsea Court is also waiting to be lotted and modded. - Tai Yuen phases 2 and 3 are completely done; I'm just waiting for the model for phase 1. This will be another huge set of lots, and with a few special twists to them.

- According to the last screenshots, Paul is nearing completion on 1 Pacific Place.

- Bixel's latest Kowloon highrise looks like it has advanced pretty far as well.

- Skyfire's Cheung Kong Centre has been sent to HONG KONG for lotting and modding, but HONG KONG has disappeared for the time being - RLS, I suppose.

- 2ch.net simplayer's Japanese Rice Paddies are lying on my HD, but it's a 22 megabyte package with multiple lots and will require very much time.

- Once I get a final render of one last building, you guys can brace yourselves for a huge surprise package that will contain more than 30 lots.

I think all this, mixed with social life, job, etc., isn't that bad. PLus, now comes the nasty weather when you don't want to spend the whole day outside, so the HKABT is as far from being dead as can be, I guess. Slowed down for the time being, maybe.
