Thanks again, everyone, for the support!9.gif
I received a reply to my message on Sim City Force. I was asked to tell Simtropolis this:

As you can see from our Sim City Force picture contest , Japanese Sim City 4 players are making good use of BATs, lots, and mods from Simtropolis. Because of the language barrier, it is very rare that we comment at Simtropolis. However, we are all shouting cooool!!! at all the great stuff that is available there.

A few new lots and things for you.
First, a Gundam lot by NOB. It is a Zeon base (for those of you in the know). It functions as a park.
ZEON-gunko1.jpg
Next, a bus skin, also by NOB. It does not overwrite the original. It is the design of one bus company in Hiroshima.
hirodenbus0.jpg
The Gundam lot and the bus can be downloaded here .
Then we have a robot statue by Kaku. It costs 100,000 to plop and 150 monthly. I don't know what else it does. Download here . (Yahoo Briefcase)
teeri.jpg
Finally, a heliport by Bikutori. It probably functions like an airport. Download here .

Getting back on topic...
Thank you, Armandeus, for bringing these great lots to the English-speaking SC4 community!

There's a whole lot of Gundam lots though. Me, I don't like Gundam.

For lot (game content) ownership and copyright information, I direct you to EA Games, and their licensing agreement.

I humbly request that we remain on topic from this point onward. If that is not agreeable, then I will consult with a moderator for assistance. Thank you.

OK, back to business here. Two new lots, both by Rougetsu. You can see them in this picture.
rsf.jpg
That is a small passenger train station on the left, and a locomotive garage (train enthusiasts: is that what it's called?) on the right. The garage is eye candy, but the train station works. As you can probably discern from the query in the screenshot, the train station has a max capacity of 2200. Download the station here and the garage-thing here .
In addition, Daiku has posted a covered tunnel - the kind they construct on mountainsides to protect the road from landslides and heavy snow. This is a new version with a different design.

Download here .

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Somy's website is down - looks like excessive bandwidth. Would anyone mind posting more of his lots on the STEX? I would especially like to see the large statues. I don't know if this goes against any principles of posting BATs, but I wouldn't think so, considering three of his buildings are already on there.
Thanks

Hi armandeus , i say it again you work is terrific.

I have a question, i downloaded a plane from a japanese site  (With some red and white colors on it) and I put it in my plugin folder but my plugin folder is such a big thing so i can't find the lot in my plugin folder anymore (the plane took over all my planes and the plane had an unfinished look) so i wanted to remove it.

Can you find that plane for me?, it was on the first discovered site downloadeble if i remember me well

Thanks anyway

Thanks, Alkaola.2.gif That lot I directed you to is a demo lot. The download is a set of props and effects. It is possible that you have the airplane props from that download and you are not using the demo lot. I suggest you download it again and compare the file names to what's in your plugin folder.

And now, may I direct your attention to a truly awesome lot made by NOB, our Japanese BAT creator from Hiroshima famous for his Gundam lots. Can you guess what this is? It is a real-life building.
ABomb-Dome1.jpg

Probably not, because anyone who has been to Hiroshima after Aug. 6, 1945 would only know this sight:
hiroshima_001.jpg

It's the world-famous Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome which was near ground zero on that fateful day. Read more about it here  in English. I went there a few years ago, and the site seemed like a giant tombstone. (Incidentally, August 6th is my birthday.)

Only NOB has constructed it to look as it did before the bomb, when it was the Industrial Promotion Hall.

The cherry trees (the 3 pink trees in back) were created by another Japanese BAT author who I have featured before, Ragutaro (you need the props in Ragutaro's Inuyama Castle in order to see the trees. I gave information about that lot a few pages back, but the links have changed. Go here to get it, or just get the props here ). NOB says he used Ilive's Reader and the RCI Blank Lots set in making the lot. He says making the roof was particularly difficult.

NOB is careful to say that he is not trying to make a political or any other kind of statement by creating this lot. He merely wanted to create something unique to his hometown of Hiroshima. Let's keep that in mind and not make any off-topic political remarks either way, OK?

The lot functions as a ploppable landmark with 335 CO$$ jobs that you plop at a cost of 10,000 simoleons. The parking lot in the rear is transit-enabled.

Go directly to his site and download there.

It's very nice. I doubt anyone will take it as a political statement or anything of that nature. I'm going to have to add that one to my collection

Armandeus...Please thank NOB for this beautiful building. I think it's terrific that he decided to rebuild something destroyed through war. Imagine all of the great architecture that has been destroyed through war...or, even amazing architecture that has been destroyed for no other reason than urban renewal/development to build some steel and glass office tower. I can't imagine that NOB's newest creation could be construed as political.

I went to SOMY's site to download that awsome microwave plant, but he put on the site that he closed his site because of to much transfer quantity (exessive bandwith usage) Is there any other place where I can download that plant?
