To NOB and Armandeus

I was wondering if you guys could do me a favor. I'm looking to replace all of the in-game farms with rice paddies. I haven't gotten much response over on the BAT request thread, so I thought maybe you guys could look around the Japanese websites, they might be more interested in this type of thing. Maybe they'll even make a new BAT for it. Anyway, I'd be very grateful if you could come up with something.

Thanks for all the great BATs...

(now to see if I can return the favor and put my Korean and Chinese to use finding some SC4 pages from those countries)

Those are props... they're cherry trees. Very common in Japanese temples and castles.

Cherry trees are common across Japan and are beautiful when in bloom for a few weeks every spring. They have special significance for the Japanese. There's a reference to the significance in the film The Last Samurai.

What do the Japanese eat? Miso, udon, and sashimi. Good stuff . .

I think the Japanese BATters have such cool ideas because they're not bound by the constraints of realism. They don't simply try to make SC4 like their own country, as we at ST do, but instead they try to make SC4 the way they WANT their country to be. If that includes stuff like Police Mechas (which are

They also do alot of concept-buildings. Stuff that architects and builders speculate about, but can't quite build yet, as we don't yet have the proper technology or maybe funding, or just maybe we're not quite ready for.

Here's a Japanese style water tower by One.
kyusuitou.jpg
It's 3 x 3 and outputs a little less water than the major pumping station that comes with Rush Hour. Download here . (LZH format archive)

Somy's site says you must have these installed:

Lot Editor
Rush Hour Building as Props
bldgprop_vol2.dat
SimCity 4 Building as Props
bldgprop_vol1.dat
SimCity 4 Update
By the way, that Pokemon plane is NOB's.

This is a landmark building...Looks ok during the day time, but at night time...the lighting could be better, but still looks cool.

This is an amazing project. It's still under construction atm, but hopefully it will be released soon. I'll be keeping an eye on this one for sure.
