Today all links are vulnerable to spywares, you should be careful what kind of links you click, Spywares are small scripts that can be downloaded to your computer as simple as viewing an innocent page, the script downloads attached to the page you're viewing, recently BBS(forum boards) are not vulnerable to spyware codes unless it's a custom addition to the software. Dudy's Highlight We cannot eliminate the chances of the STEX having a malicious file, however those chances are small because people can report custom files uploaded to the server, even if STEX has no Antivirus protection, if a person wants to spread their virus a downloading system like STEX, would be a great way to start. I recommend all you guys to scan for viruses even on must trusted websites, Simtropolis is a trusted website, but it has way too many members to know the origin and accuracy of the file uploaded to the server so be careful.
