Thanks guys! Hope everyone had a good christmas! :)

I've been working on Inland Steel's night. I've done an export but I'm up to doing another depending on what you guys think.

It doesn't seem right to me, kinda has a washed out feeling to it, comes across as a bit blury..maybe it's the glare? Maybe it's my monitor but it kinda of gives off an impression of an oil painting, as in you can see the brush strokes..hope you understand what I mean :) Lobby is good though, that seems fine...

I was going to say earlier that I thought the appearance was kind of blurry for the night scene, but I'm no MAX expert so I wanted to hold most of my thoughts.

Could we see a Maxis Night view as well? :)

Looking marvelous overall though Jason! :D

I agree with gutterclub, and I'd like to add that at least on my notebook display it looks almost devoid of any colour whatsoever, like a black-and-white scene (except for the roof of the elevator core, of course). Even the office floors are totally colourless.

IMO, light distribution and intensity are perfectly fine, though. :)

I agree with T Wrecks in regard the lack of colour. Overall though, the modelling is top notch.

Main facade looks much better now - almost looked like a Seurat painting before (which isn't really a bad thing).

    Love the modeled interior.

Nightlighting is spot on, and the interiors are top drawer

    Thanks guys!

For the interiors, I needed to model an interior for the left part of the ground floor, and since I had the furniture I copied it to some of the upper floors. But only a few of the lit up areas on the tower are modeled interiors, most are just a night glass texture. But the night glass is behind the modeled blinds I made.

So what are your guys' thoughts on the red light on the elevator tower? There is no light source but also there are some bright hotspots forming on some of the reflective materials.

that red light is actually amazing (as everything else) it gives an outstanding sense of life and realism. it could be a little lighter thou and some spots of light, almost pixel size stand out a bit. But if you leave it as it is, is 5***** already ;)

Really good job with the nightlights :)

I would maybe add more color tintes insight, I have the feelling of something black and night. One flag is too lighten up and is strange but it's a small detail.

It will be an extreme good addition to your collection and our game.

The red light is a nice touch - it gives a bit of variety and interest. The rest of the lighting is great, too.

Glad to see your recent upload (Hillier) in the STEX featured spotlight, too. 1x2 offices are sorely needed, and this one is a gem. Your eye for modeling and texturing is enviable! :) Hope to see lots more from you in 2013...
