Kinross consists of many suburbs that are outside the main urban area of the city. Most of these new suburbs have taken away farmland from the area.

How do you do the street neighbor connection?

Maybe I'm blind, but I couldn't find it

I really like the use of all transportation networks in curvy paths!  It gives the suburbs a much more natural feel.

That looks nice takemethere.

I didn't realize you could connect a street to a neighboring city tile.

Thanks! And yeah I didn't know it was possible either for the longest time until I stumbled upon a thread about it last year. There's a multi-step procedure to enable it and other unique connections like diagonal avenue & highway connections.

Here's the thread; https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=7350.0
Unfortunately it seems the images are no longer visible, which made it a lot easy to do.

The only exception is that it doesn't work for diagonal RHW. Though there are other work arounds for that too ;)

Nice suburbs! One thing you need, though, is the Light Replacement Mod by MandelSoft. (He made several versions of them for each region of the world.) The Maxis lights look ugly IMO; the LRM ones are in HD and look 1000x better.

@Compdude787 Thanks for the suggestion, I actually downloaded that mod a short while ago but I never got around to installing it. I guess it's one of those things that isn't instantly obvious, but it's high time to put vanilla maxis anything to rest.

takemethere ... really brilliant work ... and as you may, I hate the Palm tree prop I try what I can to get to get rid of them

here is a suburban stop that I just grew, some pruning required.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

I second Compdude787's comment. Also I see you sneaked in some MMPs to cover the gap between the elevated railway support and the retaining walls.

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

With regards, Miles Saunders-Priem aka. Ln X aka. The British Sausage

Thanks for the compliments Gents, yeah Ln X  I think I have a love affair with MMPs, I love to use them to cover gaps, though I wish at the time of the building of the transit network I used a different MMP, but if you agree I think I can get away with it this time?

Carver Estates, in the southwest corner of Greenvale, which is Alexandria's nearest suburb on the eastern shore of Lake Ronson. Only Ford Hill and a bunch of warehouses lie between this place and Alexandria's CBD.

Switched to an HD terrain mod

How were you able to download Gobias' Sudden Valley terrain mod? I thought he took it down like six months ago.

I was lucky enough to download it and the Berner Oberland a couple weeks before he took them down. I played with them a little but it didn't immediately appeal to me since at that time I was mostly working on heavy urban development. Thankfully I kept it in what I call the K4L folder(Keep For Later). It's where I keep unused downloads that I think might be useful later on. But yeah, one can only hope it's just some kind of hiatus and if when he comes back he'll re upload them.

Nice nighttime shots  @Pottermeis4. In addition, if you want to take better, unhindered shots then I suggest these quality of life mods for that reason:

Good luck! :)
