Some great universities here, but many do follow a similar pattern made from the same components

Something a bit different, i've been working on the concept for a while now, this is just a small part of the campus, still much more to do though

Love that plaza texture. Is that your own?

Wow,some really impressive Campuses from everyone.

tankmank: Wow,your University looks very different but totally amazing. That interestingly shaped building next to the roundabout, where does ist come from?

Oh well, and here is my rather boring try at a modular University. For my CJ i planned my Uni-Campus at the same place as the real world Columbia University in Manhatan. As you can see,the Streetgrid is exactly the same and there is even a first glimpse what once will be the Morningside Park.

also the Layout of the Campus is loosely based on it`s real life counterpart. This was actually the first time i used the layhurst University Pieces and i learned something:They are very intolerant for sloped terrain....

And a Mosaik (well, sort of).Klick on the pics for a fullsize view...

Here is the East Campus of the Universidad Metropolitana de Ciudad del Lago. Once the main building of the University, now is home to the Education (grey and red tower at the top), Life Sciences (small buildings in the center) and Mathematics and Physics faculties (old styled buildings in the left down corner).

Besides, the tram station bears the name of the campus, as the higway ramp in the southeast border (the image was taken from the north).

This campus has a library (the black block behind the station) and an underground auditorium, with capacity for 1,500 people.

One of the university layouts in my flagship city Vista Del Mar. I might go back at some point soon and see if I can level the terrain between the athletic center and soccer field...

Great designs here guys.  I love the diversity of styles (urban, commuter, community college, sports-centric etc.).  Here's Hippopolis University, based on the layout of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Go Badgers!)

Here's two from my new Region

Barrett University -East Campus

4L6K1hR.png

Located in Ohio City on the farthest reaches of Indiola, BU-East is the second campus of Barrett University. This school is loosely based off of Purdue University's North Central Campus and named after a friend of mine who attended the Main Purdue Campus. Their sports teams are called the Silverhawks

Lake Rudy University
EmFY6uB.png
Located in the namesake town of Lake Rudy, LRU is one of the finest private Universities in Eastern Waukegan. A catholic school, LRU is one of the largest not only in Indiola, but in the largest in Eastern Waukegan. This school is based off of Valparaiso University in Indiana, I made it a Catholic school, because for the longest time I had thought the school was Catholic (Valpo is actually Lutheran). I also named the school (and thus city) after a friend who is a Valpo student. Like Barrett - East Lake Rudy is also a Class A Sports School. They're known officially as the Bulldogs and unofficially have the nickname Ru-Dogs.

Southern Polytechnical Institute

Xankj7c.png

SPI is the newest school in Indiola (Founded in 1985, 5 years after Barrett University's East Campus was built). It's a school that focus on technology and computing sciences. While the Dorms may not be much (They're jokingly called the "Commie Blocks"), the education students receive at SPI is known as one of the best you can get. Plus it's located across the street from Starbucks Stadium, home of the Indiola Raiders WLB Baseball team. And is just north of the Museum of Indiola.  SPI's sports teams are class B (Small school) and are called the Big Red. I based this school New York's Rennselaer Polytechnical Institute.

Thanks. I only had about 15 tiles to the end of the city and a hill just past the industrial area so I had to cram it in the to connect the highways from the other cities.

The hilly spread campus of Thoreau University is not enjoyed by the students, as walking to class becomes a bit of a work out.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

University of Hixon  - Hixon Courthouse, HIX

UH is the main campus of the Hixon County University system. Its gone through many restorations and upgrades through the years.

zKTPn9F.png

OAIa87Z.png

The Sports teams are known as the Hawks

University of West Hixon - Port Jasper, HIX

The Younger brother of UH, UWH is a decent school but no where near as prestigious as its big brother to the east. The main factors being that the school hasn't been upgraded as frequently as UH and the fact its not in the best of locations (lots of industry and smog near by). The one thing UWH has over UH is that they play sports in Jasper's pro stadiums.

H5RSvUm.png

UWH's teams are known as the Cardinals

Jasper College - Jasper, HIX

Probably the finest school in Jasper, JC is one of Siskoyu's finest catholic schools. The elite of the catholic elite are known to go here and several prominent businessmen have used their education here as a step forward to become Powerplayers in the Siskoyu economy.

sz4FoDr.png

The sports teams are known as the Emeralds

Zinser Brothers University - Mount Union, HIX

Built in the early 60s by a pair of Cuban American brothers, this school is one of the more interesting schools especially given its location cramped up against the side of a mountain in the far northern suburbs of Jasper.

The Sports Teams are known as the Tigers.

Sault College South Campus. Holds the nursing and engineering programs. This area used to be all midrise townhomes but was demolished to make way for the stadium, community centre, and parking for the venues.
