For the missing texture, I have heard that the material editor in gmax tends to be wonky and you sometimes have to click through the materials used to make gmax "remember" them.  gmax voodoo. :P Unfortunately I don't know much about these things. I don't know what "Error 4" means, either. Have you tried exporting only a part of the building? Maybe it can help you to narrow down the problem.

 

In any case, I can't wait to see these beauties on the STEX soon! :golly: They are by far your best work to date, you really outdid yourself. :yes:

I like it! Looks very good, although, I have a question.. those trees.. are those part of the building? or is it a sidewalk mod?

Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

    Wow, what a start into 2015! :golly: I'm so glad to hear that you managed to solve the chimney problem. The night lights look wonderful, too! I love how you clearly modeled the light spots so we see where the light comes from and it all makes sense to the eye. A small detail, but it adds so much to the overall impression. :) You have really put the 'max' in gmax! :thumb:

    Along with the Crown completion, I started a "little" project i wanted for a while. It will take a loooong time to complete it but I have created the main facade recently. I let you judge :

    It's already looking epic. Love the facade of the entrance, and despite it being preliminary lighting, it still looks good :)

    The Metropolitan Museum of Art looks really great in this state.I`m sure this will be another gem out of your BAT-Factory.

    I assume you will model it in the current condition (all later parts added)

    You are doing a gret job and as far as i can remember i always wished for the Met in Simcity.

    Wow! Rreally looking forward to this one :) I was walking by the other day thinking about how I should try tackling it but how long it would take. Seeing The Met's massive scale in SimCity is epic. Though it is one of the largest museums in the world.

     

    Now "all" you have left to do are all the additions, which is like 2 or 3 other museums. Hopefull it won't distract you too much with finishing the Crown Building first.

    Wow,how comes that no one hasn`t commented yet?

    The Museum gets better and better,but maybe the size of the "glassy" part of the main building`s roof should be resized.
