mcallennov2732136721377.pngSo I'm sure the person who started this thread didn't have this particular pic in mind when the thread was started :) . However this is a little story to this pic.

I have long since turned my advisors off since they are annoying.  So I have to check the news ticker every so often to make sure no schools or hospitals are on strike, or I have any new rewards to plop down.  Anyway, as I was cleaning out the ticker I got the news item that I'm sure everyone gets, that says, "Mayor rocks according to city blocks."  Now normally I just delete it and move on, but this time on a whim I decided to check it out thinking it was a high wealth area.  In stead this was the city block.  I thought it was rather odd that I had a high mayorial rating in a area that had at least three murders in it.  The sad thing is, this area is down the road from my university...

Playing a lil' bit here and there in between reacquiring all the plugins that I recently lost. Daunting task... there are so many of them.  Also trying different terrain mods while I'm setting things up again.

This one: 

 

There are multiple options in there, try use this combination:

"tropic" for inshore and offshore

"white sand" for foreshore & beach

(delete others that not wanted)

 

Aside that, if you found the default beach is too small, use this:

Thanks man. Just the basics really. It leads directly from there to a RHW 6S Bridge over a river to an island that I've started developing an Industrial area to supply some jobs. Here's a shot of some early development of it.
