  3. It’s been a long time since I’ve been on here. So I’ve played SimCity 4 with no problem on my computer. Now I click on the icon and it doesn’t even try to load. I have the old school discs and an acer with windows vista or xp I’m not entirely sure. When I trouble check it for compatibility it says I need to sign in as administrator but I’m already signed in as administrator. I just don’t know why the game just quit playing. Any help would be appreciated.

    Being the introvert that I am I don’t like large groups of people and/or being with one or two people for a long amount of time. I also don’t like the idea of not having a vehicle at my behest if I’m not the one driving. I much prefer to drive alone so I can stop when I want, do what I want etc.

    So my game still crashes about every 30 mi utes or so. That is most annoying. I did the 1 CPU thing but obviously there is something else. And I rarely use NAM pieces much. Also I have the disc version of the game and to my knowledge everything is patched like it is suppose to be. It’s like the game will ‘catch’ for a second then resume for a second then crash. Any ideas?

  12. I spend time on my map app on my iPhone or iPad and put it in ‘terrain’ mode and look at how the big and small city streets are formed. Also I go old school when driving somewhere I just look around and get ideas.

    Ok so as a follow up I just went old school and turned off the computer manually. When it restarted there was no problem to the computer but the command CPU count1 or whatever is still there so I’m hoping that will help with the desk top crashing!!!
