Welcome to New Cumbria (Not like there's all that much to welcome you to at the moment) This is the very first entry in what I hope to be a successful CJ. It will include exploring and planning the New Cumbria area. Today I will showcase Cortez island. And so, we will start at the Cortez island ferry terminal, which is run by the New Cumbrian government. a small path links it to the developed area. (A night shot and a day shot) And the small ferry service village On the road to Whales Cove now, Wales Cove is the largest village on the island, yet its population is still under 1,000 people. Once travelers reach Whales Cove, they first pass by the local Spirolina farm. And then into the village. Whales cove has the only gas station on the island, and the only proper marina. The Whales Point Lighthouse is farther up the road (Night shot and a day shot) Continuing up Central road... To the village of Cortez Cliffs. And to a small view point. Along the road now to Cortez Village. a very small community with a harbor. Out of the Village now. and back towards where we started. here are some overviews. Thanks for viewing! Any tips and Comments would be much appreciated.

This is great! I like your use of the Smithsonian Museum (I think that's what that is) By the way, what rock/ Cliff mod are you using? -

Nice oil works there. A large WIP city. Named Vivian, its total metro is about 260,000 right now. And a Transport Map I'm hoping to eventually hit 1,000,000 people... but that might be a bit of a stretch.

Nice stadiums everyone.. Here's one of my stadiums, This one is in the city of Monterrey, (with a slight slang its pronounced 'Monerey' ) and so this is the 'Monerey Jacks Stadium' unfortunately the local team is known to be quite cheesy.

That's a nice interchange, in my opinion, a spaghetti interchange is one where there's no other way to describe it then a mess of road.. I think yours is something else.

Nice City, I think you should try to use less Maxis Buildings and more BATS, just for some variety. Oh.. and in my personal opinion, the highways would be nicer if they were Project Symphony... but they do look nice as they are.

Wow! some really great regional shots there. Here's my own... I have some work to do. And although those towns look small, one has 58,000 people in it..... not huge, but bigger then it looks.
