Three close ups of my favorite parts of the City. Hope you guys like them to. :)

Notice the illumination of the ponds. I thought it gave a nice touch. :)

Looks really, really good.  See you are already using the diagonal station from NYBT.  Overall, wonderful city.  Lovin' it!

Here's a close-up of the Sirith Tower, with its famous orange and white dome. The Lake Ferry station is just peeking in at the top

Memorial Trail in downtown Charlotte, Westria was the scene of one of the most horrific events the nation had witnessed. Westria, a former German colony, faced heavy pressure from Nazi Germany to side with the Axis at the outset of World War II. The Westrian Parliament, at King Johannes Paulus' urging, voted unanimously to remain neutral through the conflict due mainly to fast-growing ties with North American powers. Neutrality ended with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, with Westrian declaration of war on Japan scarcely 5 hours after the U.S. declaration.

The Fuhrer's orders were carried out on May 28th, 1942 with the assassination of King Johannes Paulus as he addressed his nation from the Reichskapelle. A large bomb was detonated, signalling the beginning of a coup d'etat by German agents. The coup was quickly defeated, and actually served as a unifying event for all Westrians. The site of the attack was dedicated as a memorial to the fallen King with the bell tower being the only part of the Cathedral structure to survive the blast. King Johannes Paulus' memorial can be seen at bottom left, facing the memorial square.

Here's a tourist area of Coronoa City. I might make another on the mainland area.

Not bad!

Few quick tips:

  • Minimise the UDI icons; makes for better photos.
  • Minimise the user taskbar and press CTRL+S to take photos
  • Some seawalls would look great!

However you have some nice choice of buildings there.

In that second picture, what are those two buildings on the corners of the road intersection?

I believe those are both maxis buildings. I think the one on the right is called Dennis Department Store. Not sure about the one on the left but it looks like a medium wealth theater.

An MRT station in a densely populated area of Manila

IK001JY.png

Let me be a little bias with this. :P I like that someone is finally trying to recreate Manila and that MRT is very good reminds me of so much of EDSA, MRT 2 runs along it right? Hahaha. Anyway, I hope you start a city journal soon, I would like to see more of your works.

Thanks  :D  but due to the lack of BATs that would work for Manila, I'm not trying to recreate it but I am drawing some inspiration from it in terms of layout. Actually, it's the MRT 3 that runs through EDSA (though, technically it's only a light metro). LRT 2 (technically a  full metro) runs through Aurora Boulevard  :) As for a city journal, maybe not yet but I will be posting some of my work from time to time. I like your work too, btw.

I see the, its the one that goes from Recto to Katipunan? It's perpendicular (sorry for the lack of better term) to the MRT and LRT 1 right? Hahaha. I only rode it once and my god, it was so different from the rest. The voice was automated and the stations was very clean especially the Anonas not to mention it was underground too. I wish more train systems for Manila. :D

BTW, In my defense, I only know LRT 1 (Roosevelt to Balintawak), MRT 1 (North Station to Taft) and LRT 2 (Recto to Katipunan). The naming must have changed a lot. LOL. Yes you are also correct by saying that MRT 1 is just a light rail that is why the newest line was created to have heavy rail system to avoid the MRT 1 fiasco. BTW, you are from Ateneo de Manila? Well I hope to see more works from you, its very rare to see someone make Philippine cities and kudos to you for trying to make one.
