RR MEGA Prop Pack Vol. 1  1.6

   (2 Reviews)

About This File

A combination of all my props I've done to this point, including what would of been prop pack 5.

A humongous thanks to @kingofsimcity for not only providing me with new SHK textures, but also allowing me to upload them here.

No Dependencies as this is one.

THIS FILE REPLACES RR PROP PACK VOL. 1-4. Any download calling for those prop packs will now rely upon this download instead.

Released

Reduced the size down to make downloads easier. Things cut are a part of RR MEGA Prop Pack Vol. 2.

I'm not really sure what I need to delete... Shouldn't there be a Cleanitol file?

The new additions to this pack are found in the last 3 pictures.

Deleting everything of mine from previous prop packs you already have and re-downloading them by means of this pack would be a simple solution.

I'm just confused because I have 7 folders of your old prop packs and I'm not sure what's what...

I also just remembered the rest area from before had some temporary files, are those also included in this new pack?

Honestly, the files included in this download from the previous packs 1-4 and the temporary props in the rest area are the same as found in this pack. I simply migrated all files into one place, that being this mega pack. The best solution to your problem would be delete all of the temporary file folders and folders that contain my props if you haven't downloaded this new mega pack. Screenshots of your plugin folder would be helpful for me if you require further assistance.

@Tyberius06 You are welcome for the merging and thanks for the review! Those textures in this pack were made by @kingofsimcity. He allowed me to upload them into my prop pack. As for the customization of those textures, I suppose you'll need to talk to him about that.

I am having a problem extracting the contents of the zip file with WinZip.   Any ideas - error below?

Message WZ50

An error occurred while opening, writing to, closing, or deleting the specified file. Possible causes include a misspelled filename, a full disk, a read-only or locked disk, a read-only or locked file, or exceeding system limits. The operation in progress will be cancelled. Another dialog box with more specific information may be displayed.

This message may also be displayed because of an invalid archive. For example, if an archive is damaged due to transmission errors while downloading from an online service, it may contain invalid data.

I've tested the zip file myself using the built-in Windoze unzip option. I dropped the downloaded zip file in my Plugins folder in my Documents. I right-clicked on it and selected Extract All. From there I accepted the default path name it suggested. As it was unpacking the files, I received several error messages about how certain files would create a path which was too long.

I suspect this is the cause of the different error you received in WinZip.

I found two options which both work. Using the same method as above, I shortened the suggested sub folder name to RR and then all files extracted without error.

The second method which also worked is: I double clicked the zip file, right clicked on the RR MEGA Prop Pack Vol. 1.5 folder inside, selected copy from that menu, then went back to my Plugins folder, right-clicked, and selected paste. That then copied the entire folder as extracted from the zip file.

Ofc, after extracting all the files, the zip itself should be moved out of plugins and stored elsewhere in case it is ever needed again.

So, please give either of these two methods a try and let us know how it goes.

Thank you @CorinaMarie for helping with this.

With these issues being made known, I suppose a second MEGA pack (consisting of the update folders) may be necessary in the future.

@CorinaMarie - Thank you for your suggestions.   I was able to extract the file to C:\ and then move to the plugins folder.   Using WinRar it showed the error as "path and file names exceeding 260 characters".  The Winzip error was not specific.
