      Short description:
A while ago, a collection of Italian-style lots – the so-called Italian Collection, by simcity4ever88 – has been restored by the moderators of Simtropolis Exchange because the files had been stored on an off-site host which is not available anymore. After downloading this collection, I realized that it contains a huge collection (more than 1,000 lots!) of partially really beautiful buildings. Unfortunately, however, some of them are really poorly modded, up to the point that they may freeze SimCity 4 upon scrolling over them in the in-game menu, and, occasionally, the lotting isn’t much better. Therefore, I’ve improved both lotting and modding of some of these buildings. Real life doesn’t allow me to do this on a regular pace, but I’ve had a little time to work on some of the lots.
This is a collection of 12 palaces and villas in varying sizes and styles. They are working as civic buildings in the health and education sector. Their values are similar to the values of their Maxis equivalents, only some have deviating values. The only special feature: All of these buildings have a small landmark effect.

      Available languages:
The item descriptions are available in English and German; the item names are in Italian due to being named after famous Italian people. The readmes are in English and German. The game will pick the language on its own.

      Dependencies:
...unfortunately, quite a bunch, however, some of them are candidates frequently used by me and other creators.

The Italian Collection: This plugin contains all building graphics.

How to properly install the Italian Collection:
It is not recommendable to just put all files coming with this download into your Plugins folder! Firstly, some of the lots do not have got a menu icon, and this may cause SC4 to freeze upon scrolling over these lots in the in-game menu. Second, you may obtain hundreds of lots in your game menu that you cannot (or don’t want to) make use of them; and some of them are growables that you can’t control. Please take yourself time to read these instructions.

My relot of this splendid reward by Caliban. What a Reward, indeed !
Check Caliban’s other creations on the LEX. Or callagrafx — same great batter.
Many thanks to my technical gurus, Rsc204, Kosc and Dreadnought. And especially Rivit, who lighted my SC4world and is always generously ready to help. And the guys and gals on the forums (Twalsh, Tyberius06, Matias93, Fantozzi, Catty-cb, Corinamarie…). We need help when we begin peeking under the hood of SC4. That the community is always there for us noobies is very comforting.

      General warnings :
      (1) This is for SC4 Rush Hour.
      (2) I play with NAM36, RRW-EU selection ; should't interfere here.
      (3) I also play with Twrecks Maxis HD Tree Replacement (if you don’t use it, your trees might look a bit different [not these trees !] ; perhaps you should use it…)
       (4) I play Nights. Depending on your using or not a Light Replacement Mod, the lighting will be slightly different, but There Will Be Light. If you dont want it, you can either tweak my lights in the Lot Editor or take them out of my Essentials  folder dep.
      (5) I like trees. I make intensive use of trees. Especially Girafe tree collection on the LEX ; so here’s the link, once for all ; just follow it into the woods, when indicated.

This is a re-lot of debussyman’s glorious Budapest Roundabout.

Civic jobs have been added and the lot is located in the landmarks menu.

This lot is intended to replace the three lots in dubussyman’s original release with a single lot using a Prop Family ID for the three color variations of the building.

      Installation:

You will need to download and install debussyman’s release (link below) after which you may delete his three lot files and copy the files in this zip file to the same location in your plugins directory.

      Dependencies:

JS_BudapestRoundabout Building (Model and Desc) included
JS_GreyTile_d1000_Filler Prop (Model and Desc) included
      LM_CV_BudapestRoundabout (Lot) included

      Debussyman’s Budapest Roundabout

If you have any problems or questions: PM me.

I hope you enjoy this great BAT creation as much as I do.

      Hello!
This is my first post on this website and I'm making this because I have a problem. A few days ago, I've been getting back into SimCity 4 as I feel less and less interested in Cities: Skylines at the moment. My goal, as it is in any city-building game, is to start off with a small town and develop it into a sprawling city. In SimCity 2000 and Cities: Skylines, this is no problem as long as I know the basics and some tips and tricks for improvement but as for SimCity 4, it's a bit more complicated than that. Considering this is the most feature packed title of the whole SimCity franchise from what I know, I would assume this game is not as easy as Cities: Skylines in terms of trying to build a small town with whatever money you have and later develop into a large city. That's fine, but with complicated things are and not as easy to find out, I can never create a city in SC4 that would even come close to what I made in SC2000 or CS.
At the moment, my biggest issue is that my low-density residential zones have trouble getting to develop despite my low-wealth residential demand at almost 100% at all times. Now I don't know if this is because I haven't developed any neighboring cities for outside connections or there's too much services or there's not enough jobs for everyone or there's not enough parks or a combination of any of these factors but it takes zones a long time to develop. We're talking months of in-game time wasted before anything happens and sometimes it's just one or a few houses that develop and I have to wait more for the rest of the area to develop and even then there maybe a few little areas that still haven't developed.

If you want to see what I created, I have uploaded the folder of the region (which is the vanilla New York region) here (the city is America City in case you didn't know): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1hdbPZuxsOnhO921VK732X4S5wg5lIWkD
No mods were used while making this city and I would like to keep it that way just so I don't have to deal with the hassle of installing, uninstalling, and reinstalling mods for whatever reason. I would like to keep it vanilla as possible but if for whatever reason, I would need to install a mod if I absolutely cannot proceed without them, I will if needed. Thank you and have a nice day!
