About This File

This is my first BAT ever. Worked a full week on it.. With this set you can beautify your highways, railroad tracks, you name it. This plugin contains overhanging pieces to allow you still plopping highway signs or other stuff along your highway. Don't forget to check back for updated versions (click "follow this file" button). The next version will have diagonal pieces. Have fun!

Dependencies

NONE!   (you happy!?) (you should be!)

Installation

Extract the zip file to your plugins folder. It doesn't really matter where.
You don't need both downloads. Just one. The unpacked version is for people who have trouble with the packed one.

Usage:
- You can find the pieces most likely all the way down in your 'parks' menu.
- Flatten out the terrain before you place them. It absolutely needs a flat terrain to be nice. Sadly enough.. align to slope just didn't work.

- No corners (sorry but this was already a tremendous amount of work, maybe in the future)

Donate?
You don't have to, but it's welcome :). I'm a poor disabled sucker.. Motivates me to create more!
You decide what to donate. At paypal :)

Yea the glass was a lot of work. Because after modeling, BAT does not export glass materials with the correct settings. I had to go through hundreds of material entries to put the settings right. After a while i decided to make a script to automate that. If others are interested in that script, its right here

When i figured out how i could do corners with this barrier maybe. I think you can place them already next to ground maxis-highways. But sadly enough not diagonal. Believe me this was a lot of work. The name 'brown' indicates more series will come. But i have no time schedule :). First task is to expand this brown one with corners and support sloped walls.

As a spin-off i'm planning to make a full glass bridge one without continuation of the wall. I think that will look very nice :).

Elevated is something for in the future.

ps: why is my plugin listed twice on the stex? lol

Excellent job, especially great to see the overhanging walls for the bridges. Can't wait to see more from you!

Lovely to see everyone is happy about it :).

Maybe funny to notice: this is where it started, i was just playing around in sketchup, then i moved to 3DS Max:

Very lovely,as far as lack of corners ,meh, they look fine just for straightaway areas and bridge spots. However if you do corner pieces I hope you consider doing diagonals as well. These will do well for my straightway areas thanks.
