Hey guys! so with the hint of a road modding tool in the next DLC arriving, and presuming it's something like Network Extensions let's discuss what roads would be cool to add!

I've looked at the source code of Network Extensions and I've looked at their textures etc so I want to make a start at creating textures for roads. for that i need suggestions!
      Rules:
Use https://streetmix.net/new to visualise your road. I won't even consider ones that are just some random description For roads you want to zone on: use either 16m wide roads or 32m wide roads as those are the two widths that work with zoning. For highways you can use any width lanes for cars, trams, buses etc should be 3m in width. parking should be 2m wide sidewalks should be at least 2m wide (maybe 1.5m at the smallest) and this is for either side of the road, so at least 4m of sidewalk altogether! try and keep in mind that it's not about creating new types of prefabs like MOM, it's for reskinning like we do with Network Skins! Here's some examples of Vanilla Roads visualised in StreetMix
      a 16m Wide Basic Road:

And a 32m Wide Medium Road

You can click on the above links to be taken to a template in streetmix.
      Give me inspiration!

      Evening,
Using a brand new Windows 10 PC (previously I had XP) with SimCity 4. I have finally figured out how to move my data from the old machine to the new one, including my regions. However, I've found that some cities in my region aren't copied across, as when I try to run them on the new machine, they show as undeveloped, yet if I load them on the XP machine they're there.
Of note - the old Region specific folder had 63 items, but the new one only has 58. I have also found a "Downloads" folder, which appears to contain the cities that aren't there.
Is there a way to load these cities individually? I've tried deleting the folder for the region, readding it - but these same 5 cities won't load. If I move them to the region's folder, next time I run the game they just get moved back to the Downloads folder.
Any ideas? Must confess I've never seen this before.
      Thanks in advance

      SM2 Water Treatment Plant
Water treatment plants are essentially in every civilized country in the world.
They are used mainly to clean up storm drain and sewage water so that it can be put back in lakes without the harmful bacteria and debris it carries.
This 8x4 lot can replace the old Maxis one. Better stats and of course models. In it you can see the Clarifiers tanks at different stages of fill. It also includes a Diffuse Water Aerator used to eliminate the heavier sediments before going in to the clarifiers tanks.
It cleans up to 100,000m3 of water per month on a radius of 100 game tiles and it needs power to run.
For those tougher farm water pollution spots you may need to plop a couple of them.
      Have fun

SM2 Ciechanow Water Tower New and Old
This water tower actually still exists in Ciechanow, Poland. It was built in 1972 but it is in disuse now.
With its amazing hyperbole and toroid design it attracts many tourists to that town
Simple to use, just plop it and connect the water network to it.
Lot size 2x2. Needs power to run.
Produces 45,000m3 of water per month. You will find it in your water utilities menu.
Both the new and old towers are included. I will leave the choice to plop whichever one you like up to you.
      Have fun!
