About This File

Ernst & Young Plaza is a 165m 40 floor office building located on the corner of Flinders and Exhibition Streets and was completed in 2005 (depending which source you read!).

The historic Herald and Weekly Times building has been a landmark in the city of Melbourne since 1923. In 2002, redevelopment of the site included construction of the new Ernst & Young Tower and the heritage street front buildings were also to be converted into the new 'Herald Living Apartments'.

Integral to redevelopment was the retention of close to two thirds of the original heritage listed aspects of the building, including the distinctive neon Herald Sun sign.

The north-eastern corner of the site is now home to the Ernst & Young building. The building itself gives the impression of four individual towers.

Very cool. I'm a particularly big fan of the reflections, you always ace those.

This is an interesting mix of styles. While I am not too excited about Melbourne's decision on how to redevelop this site, I certainly applaud you for the quality of your conversion. This will be a great addition to my collection.

Nice, Ernst & Young is a pretty big client for us at the Q-Center. Having their building would be pretty cool.

Very nice, this building is super-realistic! I love the roof details. It's mods like these that continue to make SC4 the best city-sim by far.

Only one suggestion...Perhaps make an acronym for your Username so that I can easily identify your stuff in my plugins folder (and yes, I am aware that I can rename them manually). It would make recognizing your work (and finding it again in case I ever lose it--I keep backups of all my .zips) much easier. Something like RDQ, or whatever. Like SimGoober's SG or Xannepan's work is JENX. Easy to find and identify (or easier, anyway). That's all.

And the dissimilar architecture is jarring, but the bat and the nightlights look almost photorealistic. You could probably pass this off as the real thing with only minor photoediting (to make the building look worse, not better).

Incredible. You do have a day job, right?

Great work! You are so pro! It would be great to get some non functional landmark versions. I don't really mind functional ones, but sometimes it is nice to have non functional ones that you can put down without having to care about jobs and stuff.

Beautiful building, too much distortion on the large reflection though; cut it down by half and make it a bit darker, and it'll blend in much much better :)
