About This File

This region is based on DEM data with small alterations for playability. The region is focused on the Beaverhead Mountains of Southwest Montana. The range marks the border between Montana and Idaho and it's crest forms a portion of the continental divide. The only city of any note that lies within this maps borders is Salmon, Id. Salmon sits at the confluence of the two valleys in the southwest corner of the region.

The image has been rendered with CPT’s Olympic Terrain Mod. The region itself was terraformed to fit with both the textures of this mod, and the height at which rock/snow begins and highly recommend it. You can, of course, use any terrain mod you please with this region.
