Carew Tower is an art deco skyscraper located in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Completed in 1930, it stands 49 stories tall, making it the tallest building in the city. It was named after Joseph T. Carew, the proprietor of a local department store chain.

I really, really like this building. Appearently, they used its base to design the Empire State. Witohut this BAT, I never would have added the Carew Tower to my list of favorite buildings. 5/5 10/10 etc

Yep yep! And if anyone has ever been to Carew tower, there is an amazing mall underneath it.

I'm a Cincinnati native, and this is a really great reproduction. But Great American Tower is indeed the city's new tallest, at 665'. Carew Tower is only 574'. The inclusion of a basement has nothing to do with a building's height - never has. GAT's roof tops out at 497', but, like so many other skyscrapers, it's not the number of floors that determines height. Many skyscrapers derive their final height from the addition of architectural elements included in the design, and thus it is the same with GAT. What makes it taller that Carew Tower is the addition of the 160'+ tiara on top. However, Carew Tower does have more floors.

I grew up near Cincinnati and it's great to see this. I usually don't use ploppables but I may have to now, because I'm too impatient to wait for this to grow!
