About This File

This first set of my Dutch Windmills Project contains four functional lots based on Oppies Dutch Windmill.
In the Netherlands windmills were used as power source before invention of steam power. There were thousands of them. Oppie made a nice model of one of the most common types.
I used this model to make four different lots. I also used many prop families, so every plopped mill will look different. I hope I don't scare you by the amount of dependencies.

The mills are power plants with the properties of Maxis windmills, just plopping is twice as expensive.

I also provided four eyecandy lots.

The dependencies:
Oppie dutch windmill (you need only the model file)
FrankU Farm Prop Families V1.1
BSC MEGA Props - CP Vol01.dat
BSC MEGA Props - D66 Vol01.dat
BSC MEGA Props - Gascooker Vol01.dat
BSC MEGA Props JRJ Vol04.dat
BSC MEGA Props JRJ Vol05.dat
BSC MEGA Props - MJB Vol01.dat
BSC MEGA Props - RT Vol01.dat
BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol 01.dat
BSC MEGA Props - swi21 Vol01.dat
BSC_TexturePack_Cycledogg_V 01b

For Version 2 you also need:

BNL Essentials V1.1

Staff edit: Dependency link for Oppie’s windmill updated.

Released

 • I changed some minor stats here and there.

Cool looking windmill but too much dependancies for something of that size...No problem for hardcore SC4 players since those are common props and many people with lots of plugins already have them...
Next time try not to use so many dependancies because they can really scare some people off.

Did you get permission from Oppie to use his model?

@DeJaVu, as long as models are referred to the original download location and not included in this download, we don't need permission from the creators. True that there are many dependencies, luckily I have them all, except the FrankU Familyprop one. Nicely done again. I like them.

FrankU great Windmill...I know a lot of people hate dependencies, but without them the lots would be pretty dull looking. I guess one could just do a maxis smashup and forget about any creativity. I've been following your "FrankU does some lotting thread"and can't wait for all the goodies coming soon to play with. 5/5
