Oil Derrick 2

Interesting concept. While i see a use for it in real life, i don't know if it could be done. The ground isn't exactly 100% airtight. It would eventually leak over time.

is it a pedmall? is it a underwater road? No, its a brilliant lot. Bravo on breaking the trend on the STEX at the moment. 4/5 if its not transit enabled, as the gate bit looks perfect for that . I will go onto sims city, find out, then rate it. If it is, a massive 5/5

It's not transit-enabled :P What do you do with transit enable though? It has one gate, but wouldn't it need two to have any effect? Also, with this kind of technology, the CO2 shouldn't leak out of the ground; it's stored where oil has been for millions of years, under comparitively similar pressures.

I wonder why this boosts your city's mayor rating(YIMBY).

And if the CO2 should reach a gasous state and leak out, one could always plant hemp plants. Nothing sucks up CO2 like hemp.

now, if you could make it a 2x2 (or 1x1) with just the derrick, and possibly transparent ground textures...it could be more usable in terms of making an oil derrick farm.

you can transit enable it with one gate. If you do need any help to do so then ask people, most will be glad to help. If you are talking about the point of it, the gate would look much better with a road going into it.

Does this oil derrick dump all the pollution 1,000,000 fold back into the atmosphere if we remove the derrick from the city like some other air pollution devices do?
