About This File

This is my last medical lot, but it is big with a PATIENT CAPACITY OF 200,000 Sims.

This hospital also includes a better health boost that the default hospital.

A 9x9 transit enabled lot that have a very large coverage. With a monthly cost of only 11,000 dollars, and small energy uses thanks to a central air condoning system under the parking complex. Water is used from the ac to water the gardens and even used in toilets to save on water usage, the only showing of the ac is the vent next to the garages that releases steam. Energy is save also by solar panels.

Dependencies:

Bldgprop 1 and 2 (at the SimCity site)

Also thanks to ADC for the intersection textures

Energy usage

Electricity: 300 mg/hour

Water: 275 Gallons

Garbage: 100

Though the lotting is pretty good, I think you should change the monthly cost. That seems a little to high for simcity standards. 7/10

ya but this is for 200,000 thousand pacitns and a radius of over 1,500 witch only 3 or four are needed to cover the largest ctiy size and the health boost is better than the default hospital

Doesn't look like a ton of effort...just Maxis midrise building props slapped on a lot...3/10 you should really BAT these kinds of things

Here's my rating: Concept: 8/10, Model: 0/10 (Maxis), Nightlighting N/A (Maxis), Lot Design: 0/10 (95% Maxis and IMO it looks ugly), Stats: 2/10 (Just not very realistic or fitting with other buildings. A/C won't do much in winter) Misc: 1/10 (Usefulness, Realism, Personal Appeal) Overall: 2.2

If there is anybody who cares for realism of the game, this will not be rated anything above 3. Since this one is a 'so-called' civic lot but basically using all Maxis bats slammed into a 9x9 lot, then the effort is minimal, the result is unrealistic. Can you honestly tell this is a hospital district if these buildings can also grow anywhere else in your city? I will have to be very tough and rate this a 2. Sorry!

Like the concept. I have a radius booster installed for public services to make things more real. It helps. But I never like to still need three hospitals in a medium city with less than 50k in pop. Thus I appreciate the concept but would prefer a better execution.

I echo the sentiments of others. Spend some time learning how to work with custom materials and then try again.

flyboy1212: Did you look around for other custom content? There are people who make really big but realistic looking hospitals covering a large radius. Although they do not cover nearly as much patients as yours, they are new bats. My rating of 2 for you is given because I have compared this lot as well as your past medical lots as well as other custom content that are hospitals.

This idea has some good prospects; but the fact that it's not original content is very dissapointing. Also, I think a medical complex like this wouldn't be a crossroads; it would be better to have a distinct entrance/exit with a road/street system contained within the lot. It also needs to be tweaked to not necessarily be realistic (lets be honest, SC economics are hardly so) but to come into line with the rest of the game.

dandavies87: I think this is not realistic, is not in line with the game in terms of economics, visually undistinguishable as a hospital district unless you completely block the other CO or CS Maxis bat from growing...it just does not make sense. If so into relotting, make it discreet. Sometimes less is more!
