great but I'd remake it in to different versions - one with a darker yellow texture with dirty bits in palces to add to the sculpture and one in a palin stone or marbeled texture but ayway it looks grear for a frist try :) 7/10

Really large 12x12 from what I can see. This would be great if it were a more manageable size. Also verry bright/ no apparant texture. reduce it for ave. roundabout maybe? otherwise, GREAT model.

Would be fabulous in a darker gold colour or stone/marble. But a fantatastic model

Very good job, considering that it was your first try. I can imagine seeing this in countries, such as Thailand. (In Japan - where I live - however, the Budda statues are more stout in appearance.) The texture looks a bit too clean, so maybe add some slightly dirty bits to look more realistic.

too large, and could use some gold textures instead of plain yellow. but the modeling is incredible, which people fail to realize. id say 9.5/10 rounded up that would be 10/10

Shame to scrap such a nice model with that texture. The lot should not be bigger than 3x3, too oversized. Where did you get that model anyways?

Well, and what is exactly your WORK in this?? Did you model the statue yourself? or just used someone else model? There is no shame in that, but there is shame in liying saying that this is YOUR work. I suspect only work that is there is that Base and yellow color. And looking at how it was done there is NO way you could have possibly model that statue! Just be honest. As it is now (counting the introduction text) thumbs down! I see no point in rating this for same reasons...

your credit link doesn't work... it's mixed in with an info link, if I'm not mistaken Anyway, the textures definatly need more work (a first step would be to actually put them there) , and the base turns down the overall quality of model. I'm not gonna rate as I'm not really clear on who deserves what credit.

What a nice welcoming guy! I recognised your name (turns out someone had used your trees as a dependancy) and was surprised that someone would bother making stuff for the community and then jump upon new people. At this stage, you've probably seen his other temples. Still think he's a hack? Though I can see how you'd doubt this guy's modeling, as I've seen your uploaded boxes  blocks.

There is not *A* Buddha, but multiple Buddhas, as "Buddha" means "enlightened one" (from the Sanskrit for "enlightened"). Any person who achieves enlightenment is a Buddha. Fat Buddha, or Budai, is only one Buddha; this Buddha is another common one.
