In the US, Louisville (thanks to UPS), Memphis (thanks to Fedex), and Anchorage (thanks to Asia - Europe air trade) are the busiest cargo airports. All have huge cargo operations, but not 100% cargo.

Place them only in residential areas. Second, if your transit stops are within walking distance of most of your residential, the sims will simply walk to the station rather than park and ride. Third, if there still is very light usage, demolish the structure and build something more useful there. Cheers

The population of the USA is more like 300 million, but one in 129 is still high. El Burro: Hell, not just armed police, but armed rent-a-cops as well. It's common for police to carry shotguns and assault rifles in their cruisers as well.

Given how poorly and inefficient other social programs are implemented here in the States is one huge reason why there is such a bad stink about universal, 'free', socialized medicine. Originally posted by: belfastuniguyWhere the UK and US differ is that you can only be treated if you have insurance in the US.quote> This isn't true. You are less likely to be treated if you don't have insurance in the US. What can happen: person without health insurance goes to hospital and gets treated for whatever. Receives huge bill. Cannot pay it. Some fund for people without insurance pays it. No guarantees, but it does happen. -
Looks great. But will someone please tell Bank of America to give unique names to their towers, please?!?!? This is really annoying me. There are already 12 existing and proposed B of A Towers.

It's okay guys. Google would beat the US gov't to Mars (with humans) anyway. But seriously, legislation like this greatly upsets me. What the hell...

Oh I will laugh and that's what I'm doing right now! As much as I enjoy mocking the US and UK governments, China just went over the top. Too funny.

The Trans-Global Highway Network
paperboy15 replied to Haljackey's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
Originally posted by: Explodingsims As cool as this sounds, this couldn't happen anytime soon because:1. It would take way to long, It takes 2-4 years just to build about 4 miles of highway, 2. Expense, It would cost way the hell too much for some of the poorer countries to afford 3. Like He^ Said, political diffrences would bar some of it quote> 2-4 years to build 4 miles of highway? Where'd that come from? Construction time is relative to several different factors. Besides, construction would be happening simultaneously and obviously, much of the infrastructure is already in place...just missing some very key connectors, eg the Bering Strait. Funding and political differences could get worked out for the most part. I don't see the highway traversing Africa (maybe), North Korea or Burma for those reasons though.
