Looks great! Is it at all possibile to have subway lines show up on the region view maps, or is there a limitation on the game preventing this?

This seems nice, but I can't get it to work, maybe the wrong version of SimC? Or perhaps the wrong folder... I used my mydocs/sim4/plugins and also tried with just plain games/sim4/plugins/ none of them worked, I have the deluxe edition installed but I don't know if I ever updated the game (because I haven't opend this since like 2005) and I can find no place that tells me what version I have...

Hipshot: not too sure, but I think you have to load and save your cities first for the new legend to show. On-topic: Although I haven't tested it out yet, it looks awesome. It really has a Euro / Asian map feel to it :D

Hi Hipshot. Did you extract the HammoRTLM.dat file out of the ZIP and into your plug-ins folder? The plug-ins folder can be found at C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins\.

Also make sure that you have no previously installed legend mods as these may conflict. Try renaming your plugins folder to Plugins1, create a new folder called Plugins, and just put the HammoRTLM.dat file into that folder. Start the game and if the plugin works then theres is a conflict with one of your currently installed plugins. If you have any more trouble please PM me and I will do my best to help. :)

Yes, you do have to load and save existing cities before the changes will show in the region view - however you can tell if the mod is working by whether or not the custom Region Legend sign appears (see first screenshot).

This was long overdue... and speaking as someone who is red/green color deficient (sorta like being "halfway colorblind, as about 1/3 of all males are), I can honestly say that this is immensely helpful, since my highways are bright blue now instead of that brownish blah color that blended into the green ground and was practically invisible to me. Thanks so much for this mod! And yes, you have to resave all your cities for this to work. Totally worth it, though!
