Also make sure that you have no previously installed legend mods as these may conflict. Try renaming your plugins folder to Plugins1, create a new folder called Plugins, and just put the HammoRTLM.dat file into that folder. Start the game and if the plugin works then theres is a conflict with one of your currently installed plugins. If you have any more trouble please PM me and I will do my best to help. :)

Problems like this have happened before. One of the most obvious problems is this - SimCity on its own sucks up resources, so having a media player like WMP or iTunes running at the same time will suck up even more resources. I highly recommend that if your music is in mp3 format that you just copy them over to the SimCity Radio folder. The SimCity Radio folder is at C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Radio\Stations\Mayor\Music\. Put your MP3s in there and then in SimCity go onto your sound options and make sure 'Custom Tunes' is ticked. I find its best to untick all of the default tracks too. You're music will now play from within SimCity and with me personally I haven't experienced any slower gameplay, apart from zooming in and out of large cities whilst they're running. Other than that your music should play fine and at the right speed. If they're not in MP3 then you should change the playing speed to 0.5x. That way its at half speed, so if it doubles the speed when SimCity is on, it should now double it to 1x, and sound normal. Hope this helps.

Something wrong I see with the SCJU
hammo replied to jmjselect's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I would add my two cents to what the SCJU is, except it has been so clearly described already. I think now you can see that it is far from the US, and is more likened to the EU, comprising of member nations whose representatives vote and have cross-union laws. The structure of the union is practically a European Union clone, just modified a bit to improve it. Personally, if it did work like the US, I doubt I would have joined back when it was first created. -
Good start Fox. Can't wait to see the city and surrounding areas. Definetely one for the favourites list. Good luck.

Everyone says to just not open any attachments that you don't recognize. Yeah, that will stop a lot of viruses, but that won't stop the viruses that are actually worth the trouble that the creator went to in making it. When specifically referring to the Kama Sutra worm you DO need to open an attachment in order to run the script so not opening attachments in e-mails in this case is the exact right thing to do. Like I have said, this worm has been blown out of all proportion and doesn't warrant the worry it seems to be causing. End of the matter.

The virus overwrites files, specifically Microsoft Office files, which is a perfectly simple virus. Basically by overwriting the contents of a Microsoft Office file with anything, like the word HELLO, it will render the file useless and you won't be able to open it. Also, unlike deleted files there is no ORIGINAL copy to restore, as the original is the copy being overwritten. The virus is being blown out of all proportion and is more than likely just a leaked piece of information to cause this very sort of panic. Simple solution: DO NOT OPEN EMAILS FROM AN UNTRUSTED SOURCE AND NEVER RUN ATTACHMENTS IN EMAILS UNLESS YOU KNOW THE PERSON AND THE FILE.

Welcome back in the New Year. A long time has pasted since I have posted any update or even played on SC4 - mainly due to Christmas, New Year, getting things sorted and a small mis-hap with a server (hence all the missing pictures). But now, I present to you the latest award winning newspaper in its new form. Coming soon: We catch up with Sunset Beach in the North and take a little suprise trip elsewhere!

Not exactly a Christmas special or even an update... but instead a Christmas edition of the National Press newspaper. I'd also like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you all in 2006!
