About This File

Landmark 5x11 - This church overlooks the Market Square of the old Dutch city of Haarlem.

the first part that was constructed was the choir. This was built from 1370 until 1400 by architect Engelbrecht van Nijvel. It was mostly executed in brick, with only a limited use of sandstone. The choir has a heavy, closed look with relatively small windows. It's also remarkably deep for what was intended as a parish-church, and the reason for its size is still a mystery.
The transept was built from 1445 to 1455 under architect Everaert Spoorwater in Brabantine Gothic style. Originally the transept was lower than it is today; between 1480 and 1495 it was heightened with a section that is still easy to tell apart from the older parts.

Wow.. This looks absolutely incredible! What a great, great BAT! Finally a new cathedral to add to the game! The lot doesn't look too spectacular and could probably use cobblestones instead, but the BAT makes it up completely!!

I unfortunately posted 2 uploads, for I thought the first one didn't come through. Is there a way to delete the first upload?

Model looks good, but unofrtunately you've used the same roof texture AGAIN and that just doesn't sit well with me.

Very nice indeed, love the quality of the textures, the roof could be a little less tiled though.

Amazing work 10/10 If you need to delete the first posting of this model you need to PM either Vlakhaas or Dirk. The delete option was removed from the Edit system as it was causing problems (or so I am reliably informed). Anyway - I love your work, but yes the roof could do with some work on the texture to reduce/remove the tiling, but that's certainly not going to stop me using it or giving you a full 10 out of 10!
