About This File

Having previously released a series of modular city walls that appeared to be very popular, here is a completely updated and revised set of city walls. There are 44 1x1 Parks and Recreation lots in total spread across 5 .dat files (walls, Walls - buttressed, towers, towers - buttressed and gateways). I have split them up this way so that, should you not want all 45 lots to appears in your parks menu, then you can simply instal the .dat files you require.

These walls are entirely new and not a simple reworking of the earlier walls. However, you should NOT try to use the two sets together as these are slightly higher than the original series.

There were a few minor problems with transit enabling the various gatways in the previous set of city walls. However, these have been solved in this release by the use of overhanging props (you'll soon see how these work when you start plopping them. The lots to form the Avenue/Highway gateways use left and right hand components. With these lots you should place the roads first and then plop the gateways next to them in the required position. Also, take account of the lights that are spaced alongside the roads as these will affect the positioning of the lots (it's verey easy to plop a gateway with a light sticking up through it!).

The various wall sections included in the five .dat files are listed below.

They are totally cool. but honestly 44 ekstra icons to scroll through! Must be a record. Wouldn't it be possible to make this beauty compatible with the new amazing menu mod by Andreas Roth? Pleeeease

I am working with a friend who is a programmer to bring you a mod that will give you a horizontal menu for sets such as this, and indeed for ALL additional content. Don't hold your breath though, it could be some considerable time before we have it worked out .. but By George, We'll get there! lol

I really like it, infact I can see this put to good use walling my cities, or one of those ancient city walls linning the interior of modern ancient cities (Istanbul, Jeruselam .. etc) Great work man!
