Getting back into SC4 after many years. I have a few questions RE: Plugins.
ribena replied to Han Solo's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I agree with those above. I would also add my own tip: write down which dependencies/prop packs you download. The feeling when I have incorrectly remembered which prop packs I have, then preceded to download loads of bats, only to find I don't have the right dependencies and then do not know what I need to download is painful. It may seem like common-sense, but it does help a lot.- 13 Replies

The small town of Kanalet (Pop. 5000(ish)) is known for two things: a famous battle between the residents of Kanalet and raiders from neighbouring tribes, and cycling. The monument to Kanalet's fallen is situated in the town centre: The cycle routes often have more traffic on them than the roads:

The small farms of Kanalet are served by this small substation- 104 Replies

Yeah, that's helped greatly!

That's the last thing I wanted to hear! I guess it's just going to be an adventure then, and a lot of trial and error.

Is that TV purely for testing console output? If so, what monitor do you use to play retro consoles? -
Hello everyone, I've been a somewhat longtime member of these forums. Lurking and reading as much as I can. It's probably been around two years since I played SimCity 4, and, after playing 2015 and Cities Skylines a bit, I have found myself wanting to go back to that good ol' grid based game we all know and love. Essentially, I have one question: since the game and mods have been going on for years, is there an easy way to get back into all the mods? I'm familiar with NAM and other essentials, but where do I go from there? Looking forward to being a more involved forumite.

They have indeed played it cool, the only thing other than this internet problem that is shady is their 'conflict' with Greece over Cyprus. I don't think it will be a problem, look at our government in the UK and Ireland.

It seems surprising that Turkey, the country that is most likely to accede to the EU, is somewhat controlling their internet. They have become a shining example of Western/European co-existing with Eastern Islamic culture; it is a shame.

I solved the problem now guys. It probably was either that I don't have enough RAM or that my screensaver was not disabled. WHat I did do was go on SC4 Terraformer and import the greyscale image and it works. Thanks for the advice anyways!

It happens on any region I try it on; no, I am not running anything else other than SimCity 4.
-
When I press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+R and select the greyscale image for the region, the game CTDs after finishing about 4/5 cities. This is the exception report, if anyone can help I would be very thankful (I'm hopeless at making my own regions!). Exception time: 06/27/2011, at 19:41:12.
